You certainly have trained Sherpa well, Jamie. He just looked at the sheep, kept on going and didn't chase after them even though he was off leash. But that sheep skull didn't fare nearly as well.😉😂

I love how Sherpa claimed some of the territory. Then with his sniffer towards the wind he decided which direction to go & found that skull! After seeing your weather I can understand how you can laugh and keep a sunny disposition all the time. With the way it swings back and forth from sunny to wet it either makes you depressed and bitter or like you Jaime, positive and laughing at it all. I'm in Australia and came out of a shopping centre the other day and there was lady with 2 Huskies. Their fur is so different, beautiful and fluffy. But I couldn't help but wonder if our climate is way too hot for Huskies and Malamutes so I asked her, "do they feel the heat". She said "um, er, no, not really" I think they do and as beautiful as they are, we shouldn't have them as pets in Australia unless the owners keep them cool with air conditioning 24/7 during our Summers, Autumn and Spring months. Winter wouldn't be too bad for them as the average where i live is around 18C. I was hoping they would talk like Sherpa, but nope, a slight bark was all they did. Lol

Thanks for another great walk about. I surprise that Sherpa cares less about sheep and just walks on by. The sheep do keep a good eye on him thought. He sure likes to talk about his treats and his fluff! I live in almost a desert and amazed at all the rain that you get. Enjoyed the ruins at the start of the walk.

Watching on September 27 2024, 11:30 am, remembering Sherpa, and supporting Jamie. Sherpy seems more exhilarated the colder and windier and more miserable it gets. What crazy weather, it can't make up it's mind. This is unbelievably beautiful! If you guys would just drive in the right side of the roads I'd be there, rent a car and live the life! I drove thousands of km through the United States through deserts and big cities. I managed one hour in Australia along ocean road and just couldn't do it without panic attacks. Never dared to in the UK or Malta. You have a great life Sherpa! How many pairs of shoes does your hooman bring in the van?

Sherpa's Day I am planing to sleep in my station wagon a few weekends and maybe longer on vacation on hiking trips. Just wondered about soaking wet shoes after that hike. Oh yes, Mojave desert and Death Valley will forever stay in my soul. Just like Great Barrier Reef, New Orleans and living in New York City for three years. And many more things, lol. Am older now, hiking and nature are calling 😂

My bestest fluffy fren in the world makes me melt every time he runs towards the camera. And the way hr runs- and a bouncy bouncy bounce.... Reminds me of a friends daughter who is cute as a button and would say that playing my beanbag! I still can't get over how deep and rich the colours are! At about 6.06 mins,I thought Sherpa was practising vocal warm ups or like ages ago, imitating the emergency services sound to add to his possible career as a voice actor...then I heard yippy barks. They can be darn annoying and vicious. Small yippy dogs i mean. Reminds me of Monty python's scene in Holy grail, with the knight having his limbs chopped off and still yelling Want another go and trash talking!!! 6.46.
