Always wondered about a way to simplify the coverage of a 3-man scene. This is great.

Great job on the video. Lots of good perspective.

I really appreciate breaking down how to do this type of scene bare bones, but how they did it, if I remember the movie correctly, makes total sense. Even without remembering the conversation very well, the shots they did end up with to me clearly communicate relationships between characters within the conversation.. Tho, yeah the blocking and the layout of the room could have made a lot of this way easier while keeping the shots a lot prettier with the lighting. Really great points about decisions being made up top affecting how the rest of the day plays out

And I bet the dolly grip was just thrilled to death at all the millions of shots in here and having to move Dolly track every five minutes

Also. Covering all windows in the middle of the day is kinda weird when you think about it. It's like they're vampires

Great content as always. Does anyone recommend a book the illustrates all the different types of shooting angles such as the makhai triangle (not sure if I spelled that right)?

Do you reckon they broke the 180 degree rule, to make it feel like the guy in the wheelchair was “disrupting” the conversation? P.S. I haven’t seen the movie. Love you’re work Patrick.

Ya maybe but I don’t think they thought any of those scene that well… I wouldn’t give them too much credit for anything it seems like a bit of a s**t show

Why did they do all that line hopping , I don't see any " creative" reason myself. And it even makes the lighting on his face look shite too . This cant have been a mistake ?

The whole location is not a very pleasing location it doesn’t feel inviting

And you look at it for all the work I’m sorry, but it’s not all that pleasing to watch ….just kind of lukewarm to be honest doesn’t do a thing for me
