If this was the situation in a small town it would be understandable but Mumbai being one of the important cities of India, this was too shocking to watch. Well, it was also my first time at Terminal 1, but not just infrastructure, everything was going like a big mess at airport. So, being a traveller I had to put a review how I do for every other country.

The crowd at all metro airports in india look like railway station is true because of huge crowds and management is overwhelmed to handle them. I think india need 2 airports both in delhi and bombay like other countries majors cities. Because air travel is increasing in india with low fares and increasing purchasing capacity.

U've frankly shown some reality which usually and really air passengers face in India. But there are few who are not able to digest. Actually citicisms must be velcomed as they pave way for more improvements. This must be domestic airport and overcrowding cud be due to flight delays. Still I found Mumbai International airport very magnificent and sophisticated according to international standards. I found Mumbai intl airport even much better than Jeddah airport. Also soon a totally new and bigger airport coming at Kharghar nr Mumbai for which work is going on at a fast speed. From Mumbai.

Take some time to wander Mumbai as well. The only city in India which has lifted style of living of almost everyone whoever has settled here in search of livelyhood. It is the only city which never sleeps still maintaining its ambience during peak hours. I think you have been visiting poorest countries of the world where no one would want to visit. @@akashbehera1310yes exactly, it was not clean, dirty everywhere, no seats as per the passengers or flights operating, smelly yes, no announcements heard clearly, lack of speakers, no seats in food court to sit as per the passengers assigned to enter, just 5 tables. So yes lack of infrastructure and very poorly managed
