Oh wow, what a trip down memory lane. I lived in London in 2008 and this is the bus I used to take to and from work. I worked in Putney and lived about a 10 minute walk from the Fulham pools bus stop that I'd get off at. It's weird, parts of the route look so familiar like I just saw them yesterday and parts I don't recognize at all. The streets look busier than I remember but for some reason I always thought it was a longer trip than it is here. Anyway I just discovered your channel, thank you for letting me go on a bus ride I haven't taken in 16 years.

I’ve got a similar nostalgic experience except I lived in London in 1970. I really enjoyed the ride and I was exercising my brain by trying to anticipate the stops along the way. I lived in Putney at the end of my years in London but at the start I lived in Knightsbridge, Chelsea and along the Crowell Road so the 74 was an almost daily ride as well as the 19 and 22. I worked in Knightsbridge just behind Harrods and in Belgravia so the SW was my neighborhood. These various bus rides are so relaxing and satisfying. I miss London as I’m sure you do as well. I think the Putney Garage is a terminus. I used to live just down the road and would get off and the bus would go out of service. Mind you this was more than fifty years ago.
