I think you misunderstood, I did this 2 years back and we hiked thru Manang and then till Muktinath on foot only. The higher you go it becomes very costly. Its not this teahouse only, all the tea houses charge for hot water after certain elevation. These folks are all good, they have to bring everything from a far far city/town so request you not to misunderstood these hardworking folks.

I did Manang solo without any knowledge of the place and the locals were surprised that I came back alive. . You should keep the luggage in Besiser and then just take what you need. It was really challenging but fun.

Just change the tyres next time and see the change . Unnecessary luggage racks don’t do anything except adding a huge weight . Tyres and rack-less luggage system . You are way settled and composed from your mind when you’re dealing with technical stuff . So , these things will be a great help to you I guess .

Maine bhi manang ride ki thi lekin mujhe chame aur manang ke center se return hona pada. Approx manang se 20 km before se return hona pada.because mere friend ki bike appache rtr 160 kharab ho gyi . Mere bike pulsure 150 cc thi.
