I get asked about this bag in almost every video - I have used it in blizzards, thunderstorms and never had any issues. Glad to see it getting some love!

I got the Wandrd Prvk 31 and it's just the best bag I ever had for Airplane travel. Even tho it's completely packed it's so easy to get out the notebook, Ipad, and camera for Security control. Just makes me happy every time. Also Perfect for carrying around my RB67. There are pretty solid Mounting straps to mount stuff on the back of the bag - I use those for mounting my tripod (which is around 3 kg - so really heavy). What I do is just slip the tripod with two legs through the handle closer to my body (sorry not a native English speaker so don't know how to explain that better) to support the weight there and then tighten it to the bag with the straps so it doesn't swing around. So far this has been a pretty solid setup.

I wanted to get one for my RB67 and 2.k g tripod. Because the shoulder straps are attached to the back panel, below the zipper and not attached to the main body of the bag, I was scared that all that weight would "pull" and ruin the zipper. I guess from what you are saying, it won't.

That geared tripod head looks amazing! I really would like to upgrade mine. I use a ball head and I agree it’s pretty clunky. Thanks for the shout out! Love seeing you get back into large format!

The BTZS hoods are great. I have them for 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 but I would absolutely recommend using the 5x7 model on the 4x5 to avoid the issues you were seeing.

Great bag! I bought the 30 liter version back in 2018 and haven't regretted it yet. Very good for travel and it can handle a lot of abuse.

Great looking bag. I love the “poor choice of words” outtake because I thought that when you said it. Keep it moving and keep up the good work. 🤘🏽😂

I see a number of people loving the geared head option in the comments and while I agree that the mach 3 and GD3WH are probably the best combo I've ever used (1 year of use and ownership) I ended up downsizing to the travel angel (FTA28C) and a standard ball head (V1E) and couldn't be happier. I am absolutely in no way, shape, or form insinuating that you should follow suit with this random viewer's decision, but I thought it was worth putting out there that if you travel and hike with your gear frequently and over long distances, the mach 3 and GD3WH can be frustratingly large and heavy to travel with. This is especially true if you are trying to keep you luggage to carry on only. While ball heads can be annoying, the V1E has great resistance control and it's been fine in my experience for precise movements. As good as the geared head? No, but plenty good enough and worth the size, compactness, and weight savings. Do I miss the geared head? Sometimes, but not often. Different gear works for different people so it's all about what you want/ need, but maybe this will offer some helpful insight to someone like myself! A note: I have put everything from my Olympus XA to a Pentax 67 and most regularly my 4x5 system on the Travel Angel/ V1E with no issues. Happy photo taking all!

Questions: I have a WistaSP which is 7.1 x 7.8 x 5.7 (with tripod foot). 1) I'm wondering if your bag is deep enough to fit the camera? 2) I carry exactly what you carry but have 3 lenses (90,150 210). Do you think you could get all 3 in the bag comfortably? Definitely want more 4x5 videos.

Nice setup well organized… the Benro head is a must for 45 camera and easy to use. Yes, I would like more 45 content. Try to get a Graflex type back adapter and you can mount the SL2 to the Chamonix…way cool! I have a adapter for my Fuji GFX and the fun is great. Be safe man, Cheers.

Hi Matt, many thanks because I've been looking forward to buying that bag for two weeks but I was still hesitating a bit. I'm gonna go fort it ! By the way, you forgot to mention the secure pocket at the bottom on the back of the bag for wallets. Useful review anyway !

Love your channel. I just acquired the Minolta spot meter f. Same one you use for 4x5 photography. I can’t seem to find a user manual and/or video tutorial on how to use it to its full potential. Do you have any advice? Thanks Adrian

Interesting bag, I’ve been looking for a smaller rucksack replacement for my 4x5 setup, but I worry about my shoulders as that KINDRD doesn’t have hip support. If you’re interested in getting a 90mm, I have some images on my Ilford Ortho video on my channel. Thanks for sharing your videos.

Do they have a bag for 8x10 to pack the same gear as you have for your 4x5 Matt? 8x10 bags are few and far between.
