In the beginning Wang So was so abusive towards Haesoo. He always threaten to hurt or kill her. Wang Wook was the one who helped her during these times. That's why Haesoo loves Wook more than So. It took a long time for Haesoo to get over Wook. She always choose Wook and rejected So many times. To me, she just settled with So because he's the only one who can save her now since Wang So doesn't care much for his family. Even through the tough times, So didn't help her through all her situations. Yes, a few times but being royalty its hard to intervene and save all the time. Like Wook mentioned, they are Prince's, so they struggle to survive the same way.

im stuck on ep 10 and refuse to watch more atm bc of emotional breakdowns and the difficulty accepting wook wont be with soo. But based from what ive watched so far wook is doing everything in his capacity to help soo but it's just not coming out well. Like if u'd be basing it on results, so has done more that came in effect compared to wook bc wook has long a thinking process whilst wang so can be so reckless and just takes risks so easily. Its just not in wook's character i think thats y his promises never rlly happened but yeahhh.... i love this ship sfm and it pains me to think that they couldve been happily married then if it werent for the interventions or if the teapot just fucking fell or if so was wiser and chucked the whole tea out instead of the teacup. things couldve worked out. im so depressed.
