Unlike other young actors, he doesn't feel like a boy onscreen, his screen presence is manly and charismatic, and his eyes speaks volumes. If an actor has a good range in acting, that is of course the best. I saw Shenli and Master also and agree that Lin did very well. In the West, examples of best actors such as Alec Guiness, Judith Dench, Robert de Nero can play so many different. parts. However, character actors such as Schwazeneger, Cruise … can have long careers where audience actually look for their character to show up. In China, Xu Kai seems to play the same character in so many shows and the audience seem to like it - I am tired of it after several series. One actress who surprised me recently is Zhao Lusi. She did many series with same character but in Hidden Love she did a good job expanding her range. May be there is hope in the Chinese media

The first time I saw Wang Xingyue was in "Scent of Time". At that time, I felt he had something special that I'd never seen in other actors. He had warmth and a sense of security in his eyes, the way he spoke, and his body language. And after watching "The Double", I realized that I was right. He has a charismatic and charming aura that is very different from any other actors I've ever seen. He has a warm glow. I hope he always remains humble and has good personal integrity in carrying out his career which I believe will continue to shine as he gets older.

When I first saw him in Story of Kunning Palace, I saw that he has great potential as an actor. Then I saw him next in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. Again, he was great as a 2nd lead and knew that he can carry on his own as a ML. I am not surprised that his star is rising so fast. You should watch his other dramas, he really is very good beside his handsome face 😊 I watched his earlier dramas in 2019 when he debuted -he had a lot of supporting roles as second male leads though. He is up there with Leo Wu and Zhang Linghe nowadays. His dramas on Viki , IQIYI . Only HBO Max has his drama from last year Scent of time which was very enjoyable also.

Wang Xing yue is a very talented boy. He has played every possible role - from a psychopathic villain (One and only), through an honest and honorable young man (Kuning Palace) and now in the role of a calculating sexy man! He always had huge potential, he was just too young for serious roles, but as seen in The Double , he plays perfectly and even the age difference between him and the women main character becomes invisible because of this! Yes, he should be in the A list of actors because he is very talented and very versatile in acting! There are very few truly diverse A-list actors!

wang xing yue's eyes, body language tells everything. he knows how to act base on his portrayed character. being handsome is not only base on your physical appearance but on how you make your audience feel comfortable, make them cry as they feel ur heartaches, make them feel your own happines and sorrow from present to past. age is just a number to him. for me i adored this actor. he only prove that he is passionate to his work. he value his work and talent which was he shared to all of his viewers. there are lots of known actor but for me he is more unique . he can also do martial arts and as if can fly. the double is one of the most memorable chinese drama i have ever seen. for sure it has its best cast, producer, directors, writters, from its staff from high to lowest. it was from their effort why it was well done. when i last seen the last episode and try to search for another cdrama to view for this 2024. i have not yet found what i have found on them yet. im still expecting something more since i seen the double. their acting was very good that it seems you know how true it is. not so glamorous but a lot of actions to prove. all of its cast are unbelievable. every scene was well executed. wang xing yue do his best for this. i can not compare his features to other all i know is that i adore him, his work and dedication. hope to see more of your good cdrama series in the future. good luck and more power to my 1st actor who has a good of sense of humor and dedication. godbless❤

The Double is on my watchlist & I’m saving it to enjoy specifically because of him. The viral video of him with the necklace in his mouth is like…🔥🔥🔥🔥 His bloody face with that I’m gonna kill you all look, the incredibly sexy stud move of putting the necklace in his mouth and just his natural beauty literally capture your attention, heart AND jumpstart the girl parts! 😂 They sit up and go “Heeyyyy now, WHO is this fine lookin man?!? 😍 I also wondered the same, how does he find time to even brush his teeth?! Fox Spirit was a major let down for me. I almost didn’t finish it. JOL 2 was good but not as good as 1. I still adore Fan Xian & Zhang. He and Wang would be outstanding in a series/movie together. 🙌🏻😬 Now I just “hope” he survives the pirhana hordes of “netizens” who are known to attack & devour those the claim to love for any slightest perceived mistake. After finding C & K dramas I also discovered an ugly truth about the entertainment industry and fans in these countries - both are very harsh, critical, demanding and unforgiving. Being an actor/actress in either country is like walking around carrying a grenade just waiting for them to pull the pin on you…. I love Wang Xing Yue since I watched him on story of kunning palace and went on to watch all his other dramas. He’s honestly super talented and cannot guess that he’s so young cause he’s got so much maturity in his acting. But being a fan of kdrama and cdrama, I know that quick rise to fame comes with its own downside of endless criticisms and scandals. But I really hope that people protect Wang Xing Yue and that he won’t be another great actor who will be taken out of the limelight by criticisms and scandals cause he’s honestly one of those rare treasures. ❤

I never heard of him until The Double and Wu Jinyan is my absolute favourite actress she is one heck of an actress that does not get the attention she deserves, putting her in a period drama is for me heaven. Seeing her with this dude and I am sold on his acting he was phenomenal in this role. So many were hung up on the age gap which made no sense to me. It does happen that the wife is older than the husband because I am one of them and I've been married 30+years. The two of them set the screen on fire.
