I think it's safe to say he's cold to everyone on the surface. Not just girls, any stranger is met with a distant politeness, which I think is something he developed after being in the industry for a long time. Granted, he's extra careful with girls and I guess this comes from the fact that he's someone who dislikes nuisance, from all the drama of shipping couples and all. Next level of closeness might be people he find ok to work with, like Cheng Xiao, some of his co actors, he can have chats with them when meeting face to face, and even pull some jokes. A level above that are people he reaaaally likes and finds connection with. He can be a total goofball around this selected circle of friends and loved ones, even actively demanding for interactions. It's pretty easy to identify the ones Yibo cares for dearly. He doesn't hide these feelings.

I don't think that he's being mean/ cold to girls.. If you know him very well, he's the introvert , quite and shy person literally to anyone not just girls.. You know yibo is a honest ( straightforward person)..not that type to flirt, clingy.. In conclusion he don't do romance...but once he's comfortable with that person, he's literally the opposite of introvert quiet and shy for example when he's with his group members uniq and xiao zhan... Xiao Zhan even mentioned that he's a talkative person.. He just need more time to get close..

YiBo really is not a cold person with the girls is just a matter of him feeling comfortable with them, one of them is Cheng Xiao his company partner with her has some interactions until she shares sticks with her without fear, plays and jokes is just question that he feels comfortable, also days ago I saw a little behind the scenes of Legend of Fei in which he was laughing with the girls while they were doing makeup, etc. I also think that he is very careful with that subject because he is a public figure and for small things great rumors can come out so that must be another reason why he sometimes keeps a certain distance from girls but when he grabs confidence he jokes and plays the same way with them.

I find it kind of funny how confused he always looks when Cheng Xiao expounds on how cold and silent he is, so I kind of figured it's either a running gag at this point or them trying to maintain an image because there are many clips of him being comfortable around Cheng Xiao as a person. She also seems to be his first pick for dance performances that have a female partner since they have so many dance collabs.

I have seen YiBo many times very comfortable and prancing around Cheng Xiao, YiBo was not afraid to eat with the same chopsticks as her in a program and I have seen tha is quite smiling with her, he seems quite close to her and I think that is also a matter of trust since the two of them have known each other since they were apprentices then I really do not think YiBo is that way off camera.😶😊

I know a lot of people don’t want him to like girl because do the untamed and Xiao Zhan but as long as he’s happy with what ever he does, i think we should be happy for him. Though he is a actor, but he knows that how to be a human being. Cause most of the actors in interviews show fake side n say that they have to show cause they r actors.
