Some artists can't reprise their role in a drama/movie because of scheduling conflict, but also it has to do with budget, they sometimes can no longer afford to pay artists who have now become popular. There is not enough budget to have that many popular artists to star in one drama/movie. So many factors go into such decisions.

Sometimes the supporting roles have much better endings, are more interesting, or have better character development. It really does not matter whether Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan have main roles or supporting characters, the important thing is that they do their best in the role they play/character they portray. Even if one is not a main lead, it is about how memorable the specific character is to the audience. Because an outstanding side character can be remembered more even one plays a support role.

It does not mean to blindly follow someone, it is okay to have an opinion if we disagree, but we need to give them space to grow and try new things, and let one decide for themselves. Any relationship requires faith and trust in each other and so that each individual can also have faith and trust their own self in making their own decisions. It is really like when a parent needs to let their kids grow up and navigate their own way in life. Parents can't spoil or be over protective of their kids, otherwise how one can learn to be strong. I also think that , that character didnt have much screen time. Mayb in the 2nd he might have more but i have a feeling he was gonna get killed off. As long as wyb continues to work in c-ent, he'll always be famous. His popularity will wane as he ages and younger actors/entertainers rise up but he'll retain a level of fame and recognition. Now if he retires from c-ent and disappear completely, then it's possible he won't be famous anymore.
