Wangala is celebrated in Dimapur Nagaland. Garos are in Nagaland Dimapur also not only in Meghalaya . The dance is performed by the Garos of nagaland and not meghalaya

It's originally performed by Garos of meghalaya. And they usually celebrate hundred drums wangala festival on November in Asanang, Tura, west Garo Hills meghalaya.
