I'm one of those older millenials that got to experience the Trance from the late 90s/early 00's. Also still have my 240SX I bought over 15 years ago. I usually cruise to Trance tunes to take me back. I didn't really experience the Wangan Midnight games, but did watch the anime. These tunes are great. Thanks Yuzo Koshiro!

I've spent a good chunk of my life trying to explain to people who haven't been there why hearing Nothing Can Live Forever on an arcade cabinet for the first time is one of the most perfect gaming experiences of my life, and I've come to the conclusion that you can't. Either you've put the time and effort in, you've built up your car, you've built up your skills, and then you get this song that just makes it all feel like it's finally culminating in something, on a track long enough to let this behemoth of a song build up... You've either had the synth line kick in while slamming the shifter into sixth, or you haven't. It's that simple.

Out of every mix out there for this type of music regardless if it is Wangan Midnight related or not I still come back to this one every so often. Funnily enough it has opened me to everything else WMMT related afterwards including what type of music I listen to when playing games with High speed racing. Props to ya dude! hey andy, I've been listening to this playlist quite a bit, I really like the blend of all of the older WMMT's, especially the transition between Never Throw Away and No Turning Back gets me absolutely fucking PUMPED every single time.
