This is really cool, to see an actually race. But sorry to break the news, but this isn't the real Team Mid Night Club. Mid Night Club disbanded years ago in the late 90's due to a chain accident that took place on a highway. The real members of the club were never revealed and live a secluded life till this day.

@_d0ser7 жыл бұрын
They kept their identities hidden for obvious reasons. Many of them were doctors or lawyers or other high paying professionals (hence why they all can afford to drive nice cars with tons of work done) and would be arrested if they were caught driving at 200+ MPH. The 90s wasn't like it is today; People didn't go around plastering their name, face, instagram, snapchat, facebook, etc all over their car for likes and upvotes. They did all the work to these cars because that's what they liked to do. They made them look how they look because they liked it and when they went out driving it wasn't to get attention (Quite the opposite in fact) they did it because they enjoyed driving and enjoyed driving with friends who appreciate the same thrills they do even more.

@rudrapsarkar Wangan is a Highway stretch, there are no pedestrian, animals are very unlikely. Also, Tokyo roads and highways aren't as congestioned as occidental ones, Japanese are usually at work, or home durign the night, and more than half of them use public transport. Tokyo's urbanism is very archaic, but is surprisingly open. I live i nParis, and it's overcrowded on motorways and street 24/7.

@DreadAlphion11 жыл бұрын
My guess is because it shows off the speed of the car more. A straight path is always easier to maneuver through so people that don't want to risk crashing their cars are more likely to choose a Drag race. The more experienced and better drivers would most likely agree with you about the highway being better.

What's the problem with other people having a different opinion. Wouldn't it be boring if we all thought the same things? If people like cars that go fast in straight lines fine, if they like their mountain pass tuners fine. All that matters is that all of us love cars, that's what's most important, and that we have fun driving them.

My Dad use to work for a company that did a lot of dealings in Japan and one of the guys did own an 80's Camaro Iroc Z.
