Listening to this woman is always so refreshing, what i have found so profound in her speech is,"Africa is the richest continent yet it has the poorest people, something is not tallying up." when you think about our soil so fertile, our earth filled with gems, our water sources are plenty our forest are green and our air is fresh. Then you remember the abject poverty our people are living, you realize her statement is true. We can do better.

A strong, tenacious, most kind and beautiful brave woman. May she rest in the light, now as she tends the garden of Eden. You're truly missed mama Wangari Maathai. I was too young to understand what you stood for and all I knew was, you were saving the forests and of course the green belt Nobel prize you won. Now I'm here following through your journey and tributes and I'm so emotional as I ponder what a strong pillar you were for our beloved country and the world. You will forever be remembered mama.
