Looks like the mango seed weevils got to it first. You’re a braver man than me, I enjoyed the video. I was debating if I should plant one of these, but I think I’ll hold off for now.

Cannot exclude a pest here, but haven’t found anything obvious in it. The seeds were viable as I was able to sprout them.
