It was all very odd. Normally the shouty "I GOT YOU ON DASHCAM/GO PRO" crowd use this when someone cuts them off and doesn't acknowledge it, not when a van has sideswiped you and the van driver knows he is 100% in the wrong and is immediately out and making sure you are ok.

As a biker and car driver, I'd just like to say not all of us are death-seeking, viral-clip-hunting, foul-mouthed, inobservant, cocktards who accelerate into danger like many of those who submit these clips. Some of us value our health and mental wellbeing, and are big enough to just breathe, thank our lucky stars we've survived another potential incident, and move on. It's funny how many of these clips involve 125s.

​@@hamman953 There isnt an extra lane but there is a reason the government wrote a law that says that bikers are allowed to filter, reason being if you are sat in the middle of a road on your bike at a traffic light and someone in a car approaches you and they are on there phone or arnt paying attention they might rear end you, If you filter to the front of the queue then you cant get rear ended as there are already stationary cars behind you. Bikers arnt the worst, people that are uneducated or havent ridden a motorcycle are the worst as they have no clue what they are talking about usually.

@@Wozza-sc2dd I believe filtering was made legal to ease congestion and allow motorcycles to move through slow moving or stationary traffic. It's got nothing to do with being rear ended, that's just a bonus. That being said, most of these bikers are not filtering. They are overtaking. Filtering is done at low speeds, you need to be moving slow enough so that you can stop quickly if necessary. Anyone who has spent any time on a bike will know that people will often cross the road between cars, or people will open their car doors for whatever reason or even change lanes. Although it is on those pedestrians and car drivers to ensure they look out for hazards before they do those things, quite often they don't. It's also on the biker to make sure the way ahead is safe. They are fond of saying "indicating doesn't give you the right of way" well neither does filtering. By the way, I have been riding a motorcycle for over 20 years and have never had a problem while filtering. Yes you get the odd person doing something daft but if you are doing it properly and are looking out for hazards then it's easy to deal with.

If you are riding in the exact spot that makes you pretty much invisible to most drivers who do the most basic mirror check. Then you are asking for trouble. The car driver should have seen him of course, but he also made it as hard as possible for the car to see him and then used the opportunity to rage at them when they haven't seen him. I always assume that a car hasn't seen me if I haven't made direct eye contact with them. If I was in that situation, I would have spotted the car up in front, realised they were going to probably try and change lane and just slightly have eased off the throttle for a second and let them change lane, no drama needed in the slightest.

@@japsniper1980 A close pass by a motorist is going to be much more dangerous than a close pass by a cyclist...by dint of the power-to-weight ratio alone. Even though a motorbike is smaller than a car, you are still likely to die if you are hit by one at speed...if you are a cyclist or a pedestrian. A cyclist presents their own weight plus the weight of their bicycle (which perhaps kills 2 people per year). A motorcyclist presents a much larger weight, coupled with much more power and speed...and they kill many more people per year. Certainly more than cyclists, but not so many as cagers (cars, vans, lorries, buses, etc)...! A close pass by a cyclist is like waving a feather a centimetre from your nose...a close pass by a motorist is like waving/swinging a sledgehammer a centimetre from your nose...! Now which do you think is the scarier prospect...?!

Have been riding a GS 1200 in London for 10+ years and before that a Vespa 300GTS. These motorcyclists are just asking for it. It does not matter if you are technically right, you are the weakest link. The cemetery is full of bike riders who were in the right. However, in this video, the bikers are just asking for trouble as pointed out by many here in the comments. Take it easy, be more considerate and your blood pressure will thank you for it (and you will still be alive for another ride)!

I'm a motorcycle rider in London but I can see that most of the motorcyclists in these videos are riding super aggressive and offensive. If you keep following a car in the blind spot, you shouldn't have complained a careless lane changing. Car drivers can't see you. I can't understand why they keep going when you see someone in roundabout coming from left and obviously not stopping, why they don't brake slightly... Cars are hitting them and what, you recorded this to a gopro sd card and uploaded to a youtube channel??? Bravo, keep doing that, soon someone's going to upload your videos on youtube after your funeral. Please calm down and brake more.

Moral of this video is, if you're in their blindspot expect them to not see you, because no one checks their blindspots, that's just how people are, you should ride like people are idiots this will allow you to expect it more and for the love of christ instead of honking the horn you should be using that time to get out of getting knocked off for example the moped video at the roundabout you could have easily moved over to the right more and braked and not crashed, but you were too busy honking. At most give them the finger, and forget about it and move on, y'all are too hot headed.
