It's a good habit to keep the space clean, back when I drove big truck, you could eat off my floors lol, but as I use to say a clean vehicle is a healthy vehicle, so if you keep your van clean like this means your very healthy, good job and mousiarty has met his maker lol

In addition to the spray , Grandpa Gus makes little packets you can tuck into vulnerable areas. Perhaps that would work for you as a deterrent for the.future . Smart to do a deep cleaning because mice are filthy creatures and carry the Hantavirus. 😊

On my way to California on the 8th and will overnight at the Skadden Wash .. just stopping for the afternoon and evening .. gotta be in Rancho Cucamonga by 10:00 a.m. on the 9th. If you zipping around with the bike look for a gray Toyota Tacoma with a 4 Wheel pop up camper on it.

Nice to see a realistic build. I plan on building one out in the near future but I have been discouraged A LOT by how fancy many seem to be. I appreciate the build and beauty of them, don't get me wrong, but it's just not me. So many builds look like they are trying to make a downtown loft condo in a van, I don't need a shower, gym, rooftop deck and a chefs kitchen. The other thing I am happy to know is that you can fit in the sideways bed configuration, I thought I may not fit at 5'10" but if you can do it I will have no issues. Thanks for the tour.

Yes, Ty. I’ve come across so many local van builds up for sale in my area, & every single one has a massive overload of woodwork. That’s not cost efficient when it comes to fuel & tires, & probably over maximum weight capacity once it’s packed. I would like to know how or who ran the electrical. Guessing that the water pump is rechargeable? Ty

Maybe you can clear something up for me for when I set up my van. My understanding is that grey water needs to be released directly to the ground in blm or national parkland because if you capture it, it must be disposed at a designated collection site. Sounds kind of silly in a micro living arrangement, but that's my interpretation.

Different areas have different rules but out here you just pour it out in the dirt away from the vegetation in case there are detergents in the water

I would do the same thing with a van set up. Functionality is the key as well as organization. Minimal amount of upkeep with just the key elements of comfort. Great hob. Happy travels.

like you i chose the GMC Savana 2500 to build out as my home. No expensive build out here . Rather use the money for other things. in the future i may upgrade the van but I dont have any reason to do it for the forseeable future. the only issue with the van is not being able to stand up. Im 6' 1" . a pop top would be nice but probably not in the cards for this van. thanks for sharing your van with us!
