Hi Mark! It's interesting lesson, the word "wannabe" I've known very long ago, because my one of the favorite song is "I wanna be your dog" by the group The Stooges and I've known it's translate. Another meaning of this word became a surprise for me. Now I understand that if the song was named "I'm your dog wanna," it had a different meaning.

Hi. With this story about the Red Hood riding hood, you reminded me of a story I listened to in German a while ago. In the beginning there was a phrase: once upon a time there lived the Dirne. (the rest was also in German) So think what that Dirne means? Witwe? Frau? So, I take my dictionary and find the word - a prostitute! Well, I think, my dictionary might be off. So, I'm addressing to The Alsmartest google translate and see even worse descriptions of this word! After that I can't look at the story the same way as before! I guess the creators of adult movies about Red Hood Riding Hood weren't so wrong in the plot! And the wolf didn't eat the girl and the granny, but... I'm no one's wannabe. But i used to want to be like the girl from my faculty. I don't know why, but I liked her so much! I wanted to become a scientist, but, well. Not all dreams meant to become true.
