Second purchase of the duo pack of the PackTalk Edge … 1st one got stolen off my bike with my Simpson Mod Bandit. My brothers ol lady wanted one so we got the two pack again. These are good tips. This is the best Bluetooth setup I have owned … conversations are crisp and clear. Enough that no one can tell I am running 80 + mph down the highway having a conversation.

Got the JBL upgrades with a freecom 4. Better than standard fur sure. Would wish the app gets an upgrade so I can control balance too. Need more audio on one ear.

While doing this, put your helmet on before reinstalling the cheek pads. Then you can also feel where the speakers are in relation to your ear.

I think the creators of MT helmets calculated the positioning of the recesses dedicated to the speakers without considering the height of the inner lining. Without the inner lining the position is perfect, but when I put the lining on the speakers are way above my ears. The solution I found at the time was exactly the same the one presented here.

My Scorpion EXO-ST1400 Carbon has speaker pockets that nicely clip-in the Packtalk Edge speakers.... BUT THEY'RE TOO FAR AWAY FROM MY EARS! Had to add the spacer pads to get them close enough to my head to bring the bass back. The HJC i10 I was using previously had perfect speaker placement, and sounded great.

I prefer in-ear speaker plugs

Some countries do not allow in ears plugs, because they prevent you from earing external sounds, like a vehicle horn, an ambulance or police siren etc...

I appreciate the tips, but telling someone to turn the volume up all the way, and out the speakers to their ears, is dangerous and irresponsible.
