Want to Dance Festival

Want to Dance Festival is initiated by KENG Yi-Wei and CHUNG Po-Yuan in 2019. It is a dance exchange platform for independent choreographers. Using several alternative styled theater spaces, which are located in Monga, the earliest development in Taipei, a dance marathon with a lively, experimental and adventurous spirit was launched, inviting everyone to dance to the Monga groove.
Want to Dance Festival includes dance, street dance, circus acrobatics, physical theater, dance video, performance art, inclusive art, etc. This brings together Wanhua's locally renowned locations, parks, theaters, shops, overpasses and historic sites and other types of space. The performances, creators, teams, audiences, curators, local culture and space landscape, stimulating and inspiring each other, launching a lively dance marathon full of experimentation and adventure.
