Great video! I'm watching it now but a bit of an urgent question - if the agent isn't responding what should I do? several times it's happened. I always end up hitting "stop", remove all ports and then run again. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Interesting finds. Can you please post a quick video of what you are facing and post in the community. Frankly, I didn't use the replit agent much. Infact, the tutorial was the first time I used it, but if you post the issue in detail I can definitely try and let you know if there is any workaround.

Great video! Does Replit allow you to download the code so we can create the site or app on another hosting platform like Hostinger? Will it also do WordPress sites? How much would the monthly cost be for a company that uses a lot of GBs such as law firms?

Haha. I had the same thought. But It's not a million dollar question. It's probably a 45 dollar question. Just try both the platform and decide as it Entirely depends on what you are trying to solve. Replit agent is just to create a quick MVP but replit as a software has a very different outcome, its AI system is just an add on value. Cursor has a totally different value if you are a software developer and want to build a more complete product. I'll bring a detailed guide on the cursor soon. Please stay tuned. Hopefully that'll help you decide.

Better is the wrong question. It should be what is the difference. I've used cursor once - it took a description of a sub-system from a colleague and drew a complete technical diagram matching the description and filling anything missing with educated (and mostly correct guesses). Incredible. As a software engineer for over 25 years that diagram, if I could be bothered (despite it's value to others as documentation etc), would have taken me at least on hour or so. It consisted of about 20 services, databases, kafka and 3rd party web services. Cursor completed it in seconds. Replit - which I haven't used yet - but from what I've seen and read is an online IDE to create, and deploy complete full-stack applications with a human language interface (instead of a programming language interface). GenAI really is a new form of language. Human -> machine. Machine - machine. Machine -> human. It's the start of a universal method of communication. Exiting times and this is really only the very very beginning....

Hey, not sure if they have changed the pricing. But I took a yearly subscription as I wanted a remote IDE for myself for KZbin tutorials as I have to travel a lot. Plus they provide 10$ credit for deployment of apps which is really useful for me to live test any app when building. But please only commit for an year if you have plans to use it for the long term. Otherwise, test monthly one and to see if it fits your purpose

Did you watch the video or are you just picking a fight for no reason? He used the plant app as an idea, he clearly stated that early on. That's why he showed that, those apps in that section and that's not his app that's examples and how much the examples are making.
