@ Well, I’m looking at Ajijic, San Miguel Allende and Queretero….it wouldn’t be just me, it would be my husband who is 91yrs old. That would be a challenge but doable. We’re retired and we fit the annual rate they want for allowing expats to move there. I just applied for my husbands passport but haven’t applied for residency. We own our home but not sure if we want to sell just yet. I’m in the homework stage. Hubby isn’t too keen on the idea but I personally don’t feel secure living in a country that votes for a criminal felon for the highest office in the land. I’m brown and hubby is white, so you could understand my insecurities about staying here, even though I’m a US citizen…born and raised…
