Good information I'm learning to become a RBT on my journey back in May I went for an interview for RBT I didn't get accepted and I couldn't understand why if they train a person for the position and until this day I still don't know. I started taking notes just a few days ago and listening to this video is giving me understanding I'm also going to rewatch it again this time to take notes I like to watch first then rewatch incase I missed something. I loved this explanation. I am doing mine tomorrow but for re cert. I just have to kind of think in the moment of what i can use for DRO, DRA things like that. i have been going over my sessions in my mind but hopefully tomorrow i can do it simply come up with those moments for each section in the comp test.

I still haven't even done my exam but I at least scheduled it. For like next mth 🥴. I'm honestly liking my down time tho. Not that I don't think that there's super bomb things about the job/ career. But other things, I could do w/ out. There's ppl before me that still haven't done it either. But I know I shouldn't be getting too comfortable. It's just that I did accumulate a pile on of issues all at once & I was told me to come back certified 🥴. Anyways, wish me luck. I found a simplified channel but knowing me, Ill prob hafta watch all of that & then thoroughly go through some things in some other places & 😴 it's just for(self) reassurance. But of course I have all the energy to be lazy... But like I said, I think I needed this break, juggling every thing & every curveball. Plus to be able spend time w/ my own mini me. She's cute w/ out even trying. But I would say that bc she's my mini me. & She's not autistic but somexs my worlds do accidently blend in together. In my personal world "good job" is on repeat too. & I'm scared of sounding monotone in either worlds but also I guess I'm not. Bc my munchkin is def being responsive to my praises . She's so happy & praises herself too. She knows she did good when she picks up after herself bc she'll be clapping & saying yay. At work I just try to think of new words or address them as little sir, young man, missy, little miss, ,,, 🤷🏻‍♀️ wever works . Idek what I'm saying right now. I need to to sleep. Got so used them hrs 😭

Are there word or multiple choice questions involved with the Competency assessment?

Nope, it’s a verbal exam. Your BCBA/BCaBA will either ask you the question or you’ll demonstrate competency with the term with your client.
