Thank you Andy, this is a really brilliant idea. I have been thrashing away with Rocksmith since, I think, when the sun was much younger than it is these days. Lately, though I have plateaued and so I am hoping these videos, and being able to play along with the band, will inspire me to move beyond enthusiastic strummer. BTW - I am one of those strange creatures that wants to play the guitar, bass AND the drums so I am really excited that you will be doing all three tutorials for each song. Brilliant idea. Really looking forward to joining in.

Buying a USB enabled mixer and download jamulus and you're done you can chat with people online now while jamming on your instrument and a gem on there's very low latency rooms it's all free, and ridiculously easy to set up unless you're sitting up a private room then you have to tinker a little bit. I bought the Soundcraft fx8, which is USB enabled oh, it must be usb-enabled. I can stream KZbin backing tracks directly into the unit and then back in and into the jamulus room where the second and third plug for guitar and microphone and Presto somebody else can join in oh, there's a lot of people in the room you can just reduce their sliders whoever you do not want to hear you can reduce them down 2-0 whoever you want to hear you can turn them up you can pound them to your left headphone speaker or to the right. I use monitor headphones oh, there's no use for video it only legs you out and sticks up bandwidth besides jamulus doesn't have video enabled, you'll want to go plugged in straight with ethernet to reduce latency, and that's it

It can be super affordable. Andertons TV did a video on "a band for a grand" so £1000 for the whole lot (split between 4 members!) So £250 per member is a good beginner band starting budget I think 👌 obviously if you have a guitar and amp already, it costs nothing to join a band! 🎸🎙🥁🤘
