The BEST day of the year for us: the birth of my son. We were told twice his prognosis was not good -- in utero at 32 weeks when I had a severe abruption and his lungs were not developing... and a second time with a metabolic disorder and protein intolerance. He was unable to break down protein and so protein levels became toxic -- caused a cataract, absentee seizures and affected his brain development. Fortunately things were caught prevent permanent brain damage; we are all working hard now to reverse the damage. That is why Dec 26 is the BEST day for us!!!
