Viktor is feeling really good right now. Along with his R he got better Q shield, more consistent stun on W, E mana cost reduction and 5 less fragments on takedowns but 5 more on cannons. Now his early game trades are even better and you're punished way less for falling behind and not getting kills, which used to really suck because it took so long to evolve. Ludens + lich bane is good into squishies, blackfire + liandries good into tanks, seraphs good into a lot of burst. Phase rush and electrocute are also completely viable if you think it makes sense. Viktor has always been a versatile champ that can play defensive or offensive depending on team comps and game states and that's always been one of my favourite things about him. He has a lot of options and he can fill a lot of roles. You kind of get to decide at what range you want to be playing and how much damage you need to sacrifice to be tankier. Anyone who's looking to play Viktor, don't just go the highest wr build ever game you can mix it up and might find something more suited to your playstyle or more optimal for different games, just experiment and see what feels good.

got into playing viktor recently and discovered that i actually really love him, learned my hard lesson for the first time last night that autopiloting ludens lich into tanks is NOT a good idea, which honestly really excited me. very excited to keep playing him and learning more about him i do kind of miss his E being called Death Ray though. itd be really cool if his ability names changed with evolutions, and his E and R would change back to the old names when fully evolved (but i dont know if League even has the technology to change ability names mid-game?)

Pekin really planning ahead XD, Viktor got released today on Wild Rift, this is pretty much the same when I started playing Lolwr, I immediately look up some information on how to play certain champions and Pekin is the 1st one that pop up, watching him play lol PC still gives a lot of insight that can be transferred to Wildrift

While yes, it does take longer to evolve R, it should be noted that his E evolve is now hit much quicker at 7 minutes with no KP and decent cs which is much more useful due to early wave clear. All other evolves come sooner too.

I think they actually understand, not on a balance pov, but an economical one. You make him have this big rework and power up, he feels so good to play because he's easier to snowball with, on brand with Arcane popularity and boom you have a lot of people want to buy skins of Viktor, especially the new Arcane one. Marketting first in Riot's execs minds, they'll nerf him when a new champ needs skin sales and Viktor isn't as profitable anymore
