I love that Avery knows that he can hold his own but shows Wanya respect by not “overdoing” it. We’ve seen Avery kill this song better than anyone. And it’s also obvious Wanya respects Avery’s talent. Wanya is definitely one of a kind then and now. But, Both of them are A1 vocalists. And both untouchable. #dontchallengethem 😂

They both are amazing, I think certain songs don't work with certain voices. Which is why Wanye's voice quality is different than what we expect.
@vocalbooth858510 ай бұрын
It’s just knowing your way around the song I think. Avery has sung this up n down many many times. Wanya on the other hand has heard it plenty but never really performed it. There’s a huge difference to knowing the melody and actually having to sing it with your own voice.

Alot of comments here like this was some sort of sing off...Wanya was even trying here and arm is im a sling,think he broke he had surgery cant remember where i read that,but medication will have an effect on your vocals,especially with him that has ton constantky get injections to to vocal cords aswell as having chronic vocal polyps...its a karaoke...Avery been singing this song as much as Tevin himself...just some informatiom for those out here "comparing" the voices. Its cool to hear Wanya sing a different song though...would like to hear this as a live performance from him belting out in his Pinto Tenor way...his range is incredible especially upper register and control...almost mirror like to Stevie Wonder. Wanya is the one person whom does not have to convince anybody he can sing.

Both of them are incredible vocalists! I do notice a change in Wanya's voice. He is one of my favorite male vocalists, but I notice there's some tension in his voice. He had an easier time belting when he was younger. He still slaying vocally though!
@jan-wesleyhortillas5627 Жыл бұрын
Thats why most older artists end up tuning down a lot of their songs when they get older. Unfortunately just like the rest of our body, vocals cant handle the same strain the way they used to in youth. Still got it tho
@ozzi4627 Жыл бұрын
Probably from the medication(post arm surgery) and being on vocal rest, that tension is normal for any person even if you not a singer...this is no performance...its simply just karaoke with a few celeb vocalists present.
@nicholasjoseph2822 Жыл бұрын
@@jan-wesleyhortillas5627 But not Dolly Parton...that concept does not apply to her! She sings exactly the way she used to in her youth if not better! Wayne wasn't gone let that top note go for nothing 😂Avery adjustment was on point. I think its mainly because Wanye didn't know the song and Mr. Morris was handling harmony that he handled in B2M. He made doing runs with your harmony an Olympic event. And the 15 second adlib off of one breath while simultaneously telling a story that enhancing the song and takes it to an apex, then bring down to a beautiful close. I love Avery as well but sometimes a run thats not perfect tells your story better when singing RnB. I would love to see him lose himself in a song like the 90's artist did and see what comes out. Let the notes and runs fall where the passion and emotion of the song takes you. I wouldn't mind hearing Avery in a group if that was still a thing.Bravo though to both you
