yeah I started watching it on KZbin too, I was completely disappointed when I saw this part was missing so I bought the box set and uploaded this to save others from that same annoyance. Fortunately it's bypassed the copyright protection (kind of) so there's no ad-revenue but it's not blocked in any countries so everyone can still watch it.

If it is too dangerous to upload here, would dailymotion or vimeo be a better place? If my account will not be terminated, I am cool uploading whereever.

Thank you for posting Part 18! Unfortunately, I only got to Part 12 of the posted series before that poster's account was terminated. I enjoyed reading "War and Peace" during a 2-3-year period in the 1990s, so I was happily taking my time watching this series. I guess I'll have to buy the boxed set like you did!

Sad that his vision for Europe failed. No one can deny Napoleon is one of the greatest generals in history.

Are you serious? Napoleon's "vision for Europe" was that he should be the all-powerful Emperor and rule over every person on Earth! He attacked other nations, causing hundreds of thousands perhaps millions of needless deaths. Narcissistic Napoleon imagined he was doing everyone a favor by killing their loved ones so the survivors could have the joy of being his subject. The supposed military genius Napoleon's disastrous invasion of Russia is one of the worst fails of all time!

A shame that 2 episodes have no sound. Still debating which is the best BBC version 1972 or 2016? some character portrayals I prefer in one to the other
