The purple poppy looks very nice in the flesh. Much better than the photo.

Managed to get one C mint $2 in the ballot and another card, missed out on the roll and the silver $2, purchased both of those through a dealer so should get them next week hopefully. Didn't take long for the silver one to get well over $400.00, I also managed to get the countdown 50 cent in the ballot also. Love your video's and keep them coming.

Congrats Dan . I still feel that the Vietnam silver proof rules over the purple silver poppy . The one that will be hard to beat IMHO , is the , Bluey silver proof .

I’m still thinking about getting a bluey silver🤔

That is a really unusual collectors coin but I like it (especially the silver proof). IMO Australia continues to produce the most interesting coins out there. Thanks for showing 👍

It’s definitely a very interesting coin. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks Dan

Nice one Dan. I scored the lot over three ballots. 1 X Silver proof, 1 X carded "C" mint, 1 X roll with additional square encapsulated purple poppy and a silicon roll storage tube (Wynyard Coins), AND 2 X Countdown coloured 50c coins. I have to admit that I like the Countdown coins better than the purple poppies. Then again, I AM of a certain age to love Countdown stuff Ha Ha Ha....

Wow, you did very well!! I did get the countdown coin as well, I’ll make a separate video once I get it. It is definitely a very nice design 👌 thanks Dan

I was just wondering , how do you get the coins graded and in those cases ?. I have two of those Coronation coins and one of the 2012 red poppy .

Good video Dan, thank you. I’d like to make a little correction, regarding your pricing. Unfortunately prices have dropped off a bit in the last couple of months. For example, MS70 in Vietnam silver proof are selling at around $1000-$1200. Others are also a cheaper atm. They certainly did sell for more previously, but market has eased. Still terrific coins

Hi Dan another great video. I was one of the lucky ones to win in the ballot for the silver proof coin. You did mention about getting yours sent of to be graded, was thinking since you are doing it might be worth doing myself. I Looked up how to get coins graded seems there's only one place in Australia to send it to. Imperial coins. Is this who you go through? And have you got a past video on the process of this. If not would love to watch a video of the process you go through and how you fill out the form if you go through imperial coins. Hope your order comes through if not I know of someone who might part with one if your in dire straights.Keep well and the vids coming.

Thanks for the message, yes I have made a very detailed video in the past “Step by step detailed guide for sending coins for grading (PCGS)” I personally send them directly to PCGS. It’s very easy to do. Hope this helps. Thanks Dan

Do you send carded coins to be graded. Can you submit them still carded to keep them protected in the mail?
@DantheCollectingMan2 күн бұрын
Yes I also send the carded coins, but I take them out and put them in flips. You definitely need to be careful. I have made a very on hand to send coins directly to PCGS 👍

not sure where you got your values from in terms of the Vietnam War coins, but those prices are definitely outdated! worth much less now for both top pops
