The men are on their way back to smith when they decide not. They send Lieutenant Wiederman to go and check on smith and Sturdy, Gill, Blanchard, and Roberts stay and wait on the reinforcements. As they are waiting Germans get in their way. There is a massive battle, the reinforcements come, and a new character is introduced: Corporal Falls.
