About 5 years ago I stood on Kyiv’s main boulevard Khreshchatyk Street, along with thousands of Ukrainian people who were watching the Independence Day parade. I will never forget that day as so many families watching with their children waving their Ukrainian flags. you could see their emotions and the love for their country. Ukrainian’s over the years have demonstrated that they will resist and fight for their freedom know matter the odds. It’s a testament to the strength of Ukrainian’s and their strong desire to be free. Glory to Ukraine.

Another economic fact that actually surprised me when I researched. The GDP of the New York Metropolitan Area is actually larger than the whole of Russia. A nation of 11 time zones has a smaller GDP than the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut! Shocking. And we have no natural resources to speak of. However, we have the greatest economic generators… Freedom and a free market.
