There is a few good reason to have a few Farsight turrets in your base but I don't see much point putting levels on it.

according to my defense lab my farsight generator is lvl 5 with range 550 DPS 975

Does it stack/work with the Lidar to give 100 xtra range?

what I've tested is it doesn't stack but i could be wrong..... and the way the turret looks.. it looks like it does static damage all around the turret like if a enemy's go inside the arura all the enemy's are getting it.... does that makes since?? like adoms arura

far sight is the ground version of screamer and it only effects ground... screamer air.... im not bothering with it... for now...

I think you use it wrong. It isn't for first line defence cause that way you waste half of its range. Units to get +50 range must be in its range,so couple of them can cover all base if they are close to base middle.test it,its good and has 2-3 uses

Range don't change from level 1 to level 5.
