This was a great video that really shows the spirit of the game, player emergent content like this in from your perspective is fun to see. You really show why being in a normal guild instead of a mega guild can be really fun and effective. Would love a series like this to continue to show off what the game has to offer mechanically for more player emergent content.

To Nyce and Syndicate. I really appreciated the fun war. Wish we had closer matching gear - gear is everything in AoC right now - but in the end it was my fault that Syndicate felt the need to war. The side effect was we did get to test that entire system and find any flaws. Well the one flaw I did find was the "So we declared war" BAM the war dec started. There was zero time for both sides to prepare. Makes it easy for a guild to catch any other guild completely off guard and take them down while half are offline or whatever. I think the dev's need to revisit that but it was all fun in the end! Good job Syndicate - shout out to my homie Savah! Shout out to Nyce and the Nyce Gaming Channel. We will promote his stream in our Tavern much as possible!

@@chilly_og GGs! Yea I see the pros and cons of instant declaration for sure. Instant seems good cause it can be used to resolve an issue on the spot especially with how punishing corruption and pks are. Group hogging your mobs, training mobs in your group intentionally, or just talking crap? BOOM it’s in sight and you can eliminate them from the area at no risk of corruption and neither side xp debt. Planning however makes it fair as the declaring guild can get a head start by finding your guild in town at a craft station or declaring while most are offline which sucks. Plus it makes it more competitive when prep is added. I see both sides but think ‘instant’ is a good way to send a message or contest grind spots. I think for NODE wars there should be prep time of course. I’d enjoy either iteration honestly

It's fun to watch the community and see the interactions take place. I like the fact that you can declare a guild war anywhere, at any time. Retribution is nice. I recommend the development team make cities safe zones worldwide for those who do not want to join wars. I noticed in the game that gold farmers who were level 20+ would farm lower-level players in places like Highwaymen. They would train all the mobs into groups like mine, and when they whipped all of us, they would loot everyone's bodies. One person up and raged quit the game entirely after obtaining over 10% debt to the same person. We could not even retaliate against high-level players over lv20 with far superior gear and over 2x our level. They would basically one-shot the entire group. At one point, having finally leveled my way up to lv13, my group corned a level lv19 in the basement, and he auto-logged on us so as not to be taken down. I feel there needs to be a point at which high-level players all geared out cannot loot lower levels nonstop as loot pinatas. Eventually, they become corrupted by all their stealing within a particular time. That is a different story if the other players opt into combat or a node war or guild war is declared. There need to be stiffer consequences for corps looters farming people excessively. What do you think about this?

@@coldsteel865 yea the gear disparity is very bad rn but will get better Friday. I dislike how level difference is incredibly punishing . A level 11 should look at a level 16 and feel they at least have a chance if they play better or it’s close. And yea I agree PvP shouldn’t be allowed in towns. I don’t mind it being allowed for if you are in a guild war or caravan defense however

If some does the trip with me I tip 20s for be guard. I don’t make as much or have as much as your guild. If they do a far one a 1g or 2g depending on haul I pay of that as well. Ppl tip if u defend them usually.

@ depends on trip let say they go 25% of the way. 20 to 30s they don’t ask for nothing and we didn’t get attacked I tip them whatever the haul is about 20%. Some hauls don’t have much now of course if I had a big haul looking at 1-3 gold or more based on how much I make. Also, if you’re defending you should be killing stuff for glint and cutting trees or metal. Reason you are getting depending on haul 20s to 3g plus whatever you farmed.

It’s a war, IMO you should camp the emberspring, once a mechanic like a clan hall where the players of the other guild can go back into, instead of an emberspring. A clan hall can give players temporary buffs and sort to make sure it’s harder to be camped and so on

It's against the current rules to camp ember springs because a lot of the systems are not in the test yet. Steven has made it clear that griefing (which includes camping ember springs) is not acceptable behavior in this phase of testing.
