Hi Anubis here: Acid crawler are the best counter to the build, since the war factory still walks to the center and would die. But not many player use the tech since acid scorp is available. But crawler stays to the end of the round, giving a hell lot of value

Honestly, this is why I don't see much value in War Factory (besides lack of production options.) I never stopped running Acid as a crawler option so... yeah.

It's good to have you back, Cob, sharing the mad builds of the Mecha community. Whenever anyone does any of the War Factory strats with Phoenixes, I always wonder what sort of impact it'd have if they were packing electromag. It makes the idea of those zoo builds terrifying.

I think aggro massed Forts with Anti-Air, Fang Summon and Ignite and Shield on the Fangs might do well here? The chaff produced by the Factories should get hung up on the Fangs pretty well. Forts can one-shot Balls and Hammers and the low-level Phoenixes should get targetted and stomped by the Anti-Air missiles. Any Fangs that survive can get to Igniting the Factories. Need a hell of a lot of Fangs though. Some backup Acid Scorps, if the money allows, would be nice too. Not sure on the eco on this one, I guess the Mass-Produced Fort and Senior Man cards would be a real help there.

Surprised Blue did not go for a some Melting Points with extra range. They would be excellent and taking down the War Factories.

my go to when I see war factory's is melters with EMP and range, backed by fire lake Vulcans, AA marks, and EM or fire storms as needed depending on the exact situation.

So that's why I had a match with someone spamming them. Funny thing is they are easilly counterable. Melting points with Electromagnetic Rockets. Sabertooths. I had lots of Snipers. And some Tarantulas + Crawlers. (Seers too) and picked up the lvl 7 Stormys with Range and Explosive ammo. I mean yes you need a lot but I managed to pull a win on the last round. Somehow.

Ehhhh, wouldn't count on that. If the factories don't have AM, sure, but if they do, you're just wasting supply.

Mass ground spec, ranged and shielded wasps could do well I imagine, Anubis only had phoenixs for anti air right?

at 15:30 when you ask what to do? Yes Scorpions with Acid is great but mulitple techs difficult. Given this board it needs a bit of chaos. Elite recruit Hackers with range would disrupt the line. It may not be fast enough compared to the production of the factories.
