Kenny is really good at this game. I remember playing the N64 version at my cousin's and we didn't know how to play the game that well, but still had a lot of fun regardless.

This is what we call shlocky goodness in videogame form. This game was bad by the standards of 1995 and its god awful by todays standards, however there is something about it that is just enjoyable on just a "press buttons and watch stuff happen" sorta level. Its like watching a accidentally bad movie, they set out to make a good movie or game and came out with this, the effort keeps at least entertaining, even if it's just totally jank and busted. :P

Considering it was more or less a glorified tech demo that led into MK4 2 years later, its more or less pointless XD.

Funny how all 3 of the 90's 3D (Not MK) games Midway made (Biofreaks, Mace: The Dark Age, and War Gods) all ripped off Mortal Kombat's gimmick of gore and bloodshed while trying a different plot/universe. They all became overshadowed and ultimately ignored by the brand familiarity of MK and never went anywhere. I guess Midway was desperate for another IP that could bring them money.

There are 2 things about this game that I remember it for. The first one is when the chick with the Medusa fatality uses it on the statue character, he looks at the head of Medusa and laughs his ass off because it doesn't affect him. The second thing is the HORRENDOUS bosses with their shit models and animations. Picture Goro from MK1 and his clay model; only not creative and choppy as fuck.
