Let me guess . . . . . . high school class of 1969? I'm 72 also. What a great summer that was in a small country town in Arkansas! I read where the rascals hired a special bass player for this song. The deadline to cut the record was the next day . . . . . . the bass musician came in that night and added the bass without the band even there! Not sure if this true or even possible. But what a great song it is! Time passes so quickly.
