The title is a play on words, not a typo. We live in the Wolds of North Lincolnshire. We produced this in our spare time over a three year period. It is a trailer for a short film we want to make...
We were wagered that we couldn't make a Hollywood style trailer, and with the help of over 100 people all from or with ties to Northern Lincolnshire, we feel it is a good showcase of what we can achieve, the two trailers have been well received and seen by people from the four corners of the globe.
We entered this one into the Virgin Media Short Film Competition 2009 and we gained 7th place in overall views, and 1st in the Sci Fi Genre.

Honestly man this was one of the Best WOTW Fan Made trailers I've ever seen. I remember watching this Particular trailer all the way back in 2012 and Wishing we could have gone a Film taking place during the 2005 film. This and the other well Known fan made 2014 WOTW Trailer Truly made me wish we got a new film with these tripods Long Comment aside i wanna say Thanks for the memories man I remember being blown away by the CGI and it still holds up :)

Great Trailer! Well actually it's even better than some of the other adaptations 👍. But seeing the 05' Tripod and the H.G Wells Cylinder in the same place is a little weird but fun. 😀 If you had such a visual effects talent in 2010, I can't imagine how it would be if you made the same trailer now. 😅

Not bad for about £150 - £200 budget, and our first real venture into filmmaking. One of the exec producers of the Spielberg film got in touch way back in 2010. He was cool.
