@ yes, you could see it in his face. The lady did too that came to the open house that was on the couch. Emem got cheated just like Allen did, they really want a life partner. The “experts” saw how successful she is they even went to her apartment and it’s obvious. Her cousin and friend also looked like they are too. She needed a man that was already matching her success not some wannabe. She even said after guys saw her place often they were intimidated. He certainly is and is saying things and treating her trying to make her feel less so and she isn’t going to let that slide much longer. He is jealous of her success and I doubt he will ever achieve it like she has. Especially by lying and using people. He never wanted a wife he wanted to be on the show and promote himself but if he got someone he liked he would use the benefits for the 8 weeks but I think she is too far above him and he can’t deal with it.

He does come across as a "cold" person - surprising for someone who supposedly is a creative type...and I'm tired of hearing about Camille talking about skin color and swag! I have friends that look a lot like Camille and they are Hispanic. I’m older and it’s sad that anymore people put themselves into groups so much. Race, gender, identity. At one time we were trying to work together and feel as one, now it’s everyone in their group by race, gender, identity, that used to be called segregation. Juan changed after Karla got passive aggressive about the forget comment. I think he found it unattractive & pulled back because before that I thought they had a shot. He has been off ever since. Plus, if he’s so busy and doesn’t have time for Karla why apply for a wife right now? And he wants 50/50 even after he hits it big $$$, Karla seemed like she wanted to eventually be taken care of as a stay at home wife/mom. Juan is being nice & not straightforward with what his concerns are and that’s why he’s not even a little bit affectionate because he knows it’ll lead her on more.

As a man I would have checked her cousin on day one. I appreciate the concern you have for your family, however, I am more focused on navigating this process and adjusting to my role than I am appeasing your opinion. I am pretty sure Ikechi felt ho'd by her cousin and projected that at Emem, blaming her, and is referring to them all (her and her family) when he says aggressive. No, one is born marriage ready which is why 70% of marriages in the US end in divorce. it's a learning process and most of these people don't know that they aren't ready. Personally, as an educated Black man I feel he should know the racial epitaphs directed at Black women, especially toward dark-skinned women, and know to avoid them. (Aggressive, loud, etc.) Overall this whole cast was matched poorly, I can complete see how only one couple survives this season.

I think Camille has swag. I think it shows through in her conversation and even her friend group somewhat. The people she brought to their bbq showed a lot of her personality for me. Many of the things she said I was in complete understanding of. I can imagine that at first she was caught off guard and didn't articulate or respond as PC as we would have liked. However, I was impressed that she took this to her sister (or friend) as many of us would have. And I loved the scene where they appeared to be at lunch together and the sister was able to articulate it in a way that even got Thomas to say, "Oh, I hadn't thought of it like that." I initially thought maybe she could stop saying this over and over but one thing we know (or guess) is when they say something that is likely to get viewers talking it will be repeated over and over and over. I give Camille a ton of credit because she has said repeatedly that Thomas is a nice guy and that this is a small issue, but in all honesty small issues often have a huge impact for many of us. I see her as seeking assistance and truly trying to put in an effort to get out of her own way. And I'll congratulate her all day for that. Just my 2¢.

It’s not an ambush when he says things that are unpleasant about someone you love and care about. His wife MM never speaks to him in any harsh voice and he basically just doesn’t want to talk to her about himself. He came on this show not for marriage but for clout, problem is he is being seen for what he is and is after.
