I love how "Piss Boy" steals the bomb from Furiosa then throws himself into the truck before it explodes. It's so smooth. It also showcases just how dangerous the Warboys are. They have better coordination and tactics than other gangs in the Wasteland. If they're mortally wounded (like "Piss Boy"), they always find a way to take the enemy with them to the grave. They're a cult entirely devoted to Immortan Joe and won't quit until they're dead.

By using the idea of taking the enemy to the grave, it also avoids the issue of taking care of injured Warboys. The idea of making them have to witness means the Warboys will stay in a group rather than going all over the place.

I wouldn't call this film perfect, but the lead bandit's glider in this scene is very cool. Loving the swirling black fronds that he has, and it's nice that the glider only remains a spectre in the background until the battle's climax

Except it's exponentially cheaper to use CGI. Before you judge this film or another based-on it's usage of CGI, blame the studios for not having enough faith in the script to shell out the $$$ needed to implement practical-effects. I feel like everyone is blaming the director, & (for some reason) Anya Taylor-Joy for the fact that they didn't use practical effects, or the combat being _"unrealistic",_ but I think they did a phenomenal job w/what was available despite being dependant on CGI, & criticizing a film in the _Mad Max_ universe for being unrealistic is sort-of ridiculous. I'm honestly very skeptical if the people coming up w/criticisms &/or condemning this film are just misogynists who automatically assume it's _✌🏻woke✌🏻_ propaganda just because it features a female lead, w/out ever actually giving the film a chance & I'm pretty sure that for the most part that is the case. The performance of this part in the movie is really great, which is better than the first episode. The cruelty of the road, the human body being crushed and rotten, was ignored in the first episode. The plot action arrangement is very complete and coherent. The first episode has more trivial scenes. This episode strengthens the relationship between the characters and any miscellaneous soldiers is very important. The bond of the war boy is also sympathetic. The enemy in the first episode is like a stage play.
