War Robots - PRO TIP Upgrading Robots and Weapons WR Gameplay

Something I forgot to mention as I know players will bring this up - why not upgrade robots that have abilities as you can do more damage with it? There are two reasons - you only do that damage WHEN you use your ability whereas if you levelled up your weapons, you would be doing more damage whenever you fire. Having levelled up weapons also gives you more flexibility because if that robot were to be rebalanced, you can always move your weapons to the next meta bot. There are cases where weapons too can be rebalanced but overall, the "shelf life" of weapons is far longer than that of robots. A good example is that of the Carnage Thunder. The Carnage robot fell out of the meta and you don't see it in Champion League. However… the Thunder weapon can still output surprising damage when maxed out - it was also buffed numerous times last year and also does +200% more damage to physical shields. True, also don't forget to watch those ads, especially the silver crate one, it really helps! I also found an exploit, if you are in an A clan, you can watch the 30 key ad and the 20 key one in the offers. By doing so, you get 50 keys everyday. So by the end of the month you get a free 1500 keys lol

Nice! Yeah, upgrade weapon first before robot. I personally use only level 9 bots but MK2 weapons, with Last Stand level 5, to compete in Champion League fighting S clan and top players who use maxed out everything in their hangar

Yup it's totally doable because we have a few in our clan who use to do that. Cookie Monster use to run around with MK1 level 10 bots. He doesn't play as much now because of work but if you've ever watched him play he plays like a maxed out player.

Keep them. If a weapon doesn't do well, there is a good chance of a buff but generally when it comes to weapons I tend to focus more on brawler weapons rather than sniper weapons. Hope this helps!

Gidday Adrian ! Having heard you say the "2 levels higher weapons than robot rule " (The 4th law of robotics !) many times after watching your output since discovering you 2 years ago ,I FINALLY GET IT ! Once you said your math logic and them explained it with the end results and demonstrated from them the irrefutability of your logic it was like a light turning on ! Lol I'm currently running level 10 robots apart from the Xperimental Loki I won a week ago at LVL 9 but the majority of my weapons are Level 10 with a few LVL 9 and about a third level 11 and 12 with only Two MK2 Level 5 Avengers . I made the mistake of level 8 weapons with Level 9 robots( my logic was that getting to level 9 ensured top speed and all Module spots usable. I then ended up struggling so upgraded for more durability as I thought it it would help but the last 12 months I've been flipping it so weapons are allways at least 1 and preferably 2 levels higher but seeing the results of more damage, thus score and progress has led me to fully agree but tonight it's crystal clear and I'm not in going to let the cost and time frustrate - It's going to take some time to get my four Pulsars to level 12 from level 9 but with the coming buff they are still an awesome weapon . Thanks for the tuition Sensei ! And thanks again for my Christmas present ( the Octavian I won from you competition just before Xmas !) Anybody that reads this - Get an OCTAVIAN if you can - The best Drone I have run OF ALL !

My pro tip - Take your bot to level 9-10, take your weapons to level 11-12... then just concentrate on modules modules modules. By the you finish with some of the modules, most likely there's some balance change that you have to take into account.

I haven't covered that part yet as that will be a separate future video. I need to cover the basics first because these basics will lay the foundation for those videos. In other words… if you master the first few things I have focused on in this series, it will make the other parts of this series a LOT easier. Those other parts include things like making more gold, more silver, more platinum and upgrading quicker. For example by getting beacons, knowing how to defend it, equipping your bots the correct way by having stronger weapons, you will win more games over time. This means you will be able to gather gold faster, get more Honor Points which leads to even more Gold, Silver, Power Cells etc. Hopefully you can see where I'm going with this and why I haven't done videos on those other topics yet.

Not that combination. I think if you're going with Leech and go Scourge, it's best to go 4x Scourge. If you're doing something like Cryo then I would do either 4x Cryo or 2x Cryo-2x Igniters. But... right now the strongest build for Leech is definitely Pulsars.

@Adrian Chong I mostly have my hanger(weaps and bots) to MK2 L3. Should I now focus on my modules, rather than spend a large amount of silver for the small amount of benefit I would receive from continuing to upgrade them any higher? I normally wait for the 25% off deal for any upgrades above L8 and burn some gold to get them done. I think that way I save way more silver than I would have gained by upgrading them earlier at the higher cost.

Regarding the Titans I’d say to focus on the weapons modules... the antimatter module gives a 1% boost to all weapon... so much more cost effective than upgrading each weapon and you can move the modules to other Titans in the future,

For Titans it follows the same rule - weapons first. Modules are important too but I would do weapons first then build up your Titan a bit (especially if it's the Arthur) then focus on those modules. Modules such as Antimatter will increase the damage your weapons do but also the ability whether it be Blast Wave or Stove etc.

My hangar: Leo [Level 6] - 3x Pinata [Level 5] , 1x thunder [Level 5] Cossack (My fav. One, is it good? Can i keep this?) [Level 4] - Punisher T [Level 4] Gepard [Level 5] - 3x Pinata [Level 5] Gareth [Level 5] - Punisher and the T version [level 4, gonna upgrade it] My tips for everyone: 1.) Adrian said this: "Two levels higher" So robots are level 5 and weapons are 1+ higher (if the robots are level 6 when buyed it's okay... just the weapons) 2.) So if you do this you gotta take 100% advantage.. If youre a brawler, brawl them dont be scared (but dont get greedy).. If you are poker, Poke them as much as possible (for teammates and you).. if youre a sniper, then snipe as many as you can BRAWLER - Kill enemies for teammates, if your team have one (and hope they will brawl) support them by: Capturing beacons, since they are distracted by your teammates chaos. (For snipers and pokers) - Lower the health of enemies for the brawler to clean them. Kill if hes in danger And if youre a brawler too, stay with him or make a flank (2 sides which makes the enemies be scared) : If youre a beacon taker do this: 1.) Don't brawl often (theres robot that can brawl and capture at the same times) 2.) Just poke them (like with pinatas, they are good for poking for F2P's) 3.) Don't go to a situation that youre surrounded... Plan your moves carefully since you are low health. BUT if youre team has a beacon capturer do this: 1.) Cover them (kill, distract enemies) 2.) Follow him (for cover too) 3.) Capture other beacons : If youre a poker / sniper do this: 1.) Move from a distance to enemies, dont go brawl. You will always get outbrawled 2.) Poke enemey threats (brawlers, beacon caputerer [But aim carefully] 3.) Poke but not get revenged Thats it i hope it helps

It's a good idea as well investing to a healer robot because PIXONIC said that not only damage will bring you silver anymore but healing teammates and TITAN also brings silver. I have a Lv.8 Tyr and everytime i heal longer my teammated and other TITANS, the more silver i get per match. Silvers i get around 250k - 400k silver and i'm only an Expert League player

I use to play and I agree with adrian but since the introduction of modules I'd say get weapons to 10 or so then get your bot lvl 9 for module slots and max moving speed once there just mk2 your weapons now cuz even just having 3 regular reactors on your bot that are maxed would increase your damage by 12% and it's only 1mil silver per lvl to upgrade those

just one question Adrian from all the game you show, you get a lot of damage in and a lot of Honor points i invest as little as i can in my account not a complete F2P and i had a hangar with level 9 to 10 level weapon robots level 7 because the extra module i won some in create but my damage and honor points arent always as high as yours and i defend beacon,s kill robots but my highest score in honor points are 1600 around that could you make a video about it please.

With Honor Points you have to make sure you cover each category - you get more honor points for things like dropping in with a Titan, healing allies, kills etc. At the end of your game, go to the Honor Points screen and see what areas you can improve on (it will show you how many points you have for each category). Hope this helps!

Are the atomizers and nucleon getting a nerf? I need to level them to level ten but will they get a nerf?

There are rumors of a nerf. Less damage and quicker overheating. If you use them on a brawler it doesn't matter that much since you will be close to the enemy and won't miss that much.

Speaking of upgrades; Pixonic should allow us to upgrade weapons *and* bots simultaneously. 1 weapon, 1 bot and maybe even a module.

First thing to upgrade is your (If you have) Thermonuclear and over drive unit because they are not affected by rebalance

Upgrade weapons to level 10 and robots must be level 9 only this much is enough to survive more in the beginning if you are watching for creating best robot then i recommend to save up to 2500 and create fenrir 🤑 after that when the robot is get completed then go in training center and try to get Bernadette wolf. After that you will get a beast robot powerful than Titans .

I think Thunder, Taran, and Magnum are still good to play with...and I'm still remember what you had told us before, that's why I'd just maxed out my first plasma-death button for Raven. ^ ^ (other stuffs I'd up for mk2 : Thunder, Pin, Tulumbas, Punisher T, yep, they're old weapons) anyway, related with META today, which weapon I should maxed 'em first? (flames, freezing rockets, unlimited energy machine guns, or shotguns...idk)
