Hopefully this guide will help players in various leagues when it comes to what to expect and what you need to be focusing on as you make your way to Champion League. Keep in mind that changes will happen due to things like rebalancing and shifts in metas so I tried to not make it too specific. For those commenting on the Bolt robot for Expert League, I just threw that in there because I remember when I reached Expert League, I didn't have many Workshop slots opened so building something like a Strider would have taken me a lot longer than saving up 1000 Gold which honestly didn't take me long at the time (we didn't have Operations available to us either when I was in Expert). The key thing is once you have all 6 slots for the workshop, it'll get easier. As an older player, I never faced that crisis because I had all my slots open during the workshop points era, so it made the whole transitioning more easy. (That brief period of OP workshop also helped where I made 5 robots in one week)

Yeah I think that's one thing I had to think about a bit more with the Baby Account. I had to adjust things slightly which is why I mentioned the Bolt because I remember at the time when I ran the Gareth I couldn't really build the Strider as I think I only had 4 Workshop slots opened or around there.

I had just reached master3 league three days ago. Since then, in every match, 11 out of 12 players had been champion league players with literally mk2 robots and mk2 weapons with scary last stand. All my robots were dying within seconds spawning. I had been hiding like a scared little kid waiting for titan to charge up. And now after several up and downs, Im back to expert1.

I retired my Patton after 6 months of waiting to see if they were going to put Modules on it. I Built it with 4 Mallots, maxed it out MK-2, lvl 12 everything, and used it to build the rest of my hangers with the winnings. GREAT BOT, too bad they are dumpig it.

I think the game does a great disservice to all Pilots/Commanders by not having a strategy guide and play guide that is part of the first levels of play, something that can't be skipped or graduate beyond until the player demonstrates understanding. According to your guidance, just about everything I have done, was wrong. As soon as I had 5K gold I opened up the 5th slot in the hanger. Then I focused on Patton and maxing it out with full range Mallots & Spirals. I used that to fight as a brawler and then built two Natashas for long-range, Zenits & Gekkos & Noricum. I had a Leo as a brawler & a Doc too. You have cautioned several times to not upgrade beyond level 9, but it has been my experience that you are just cannon fodder until you are level 10 minimum. Even when I was at Gold level, I was forever being matched with and against Champion players, and anything below level 10 was killed almost instantly. So, this presents a question: Does Pixonic consider the level of your weapons and bots when matching you for a battle to play in, or do they just look at your player level, like Bronze or Master? Not bad guide, I’ll keep this in mind. I’m glad someone made a video for this, I definitely needed it. My hanger was way behind, as I said many time’s before. A T-Falcon will probably be my next goal, be a good brawler and I need one, after I get my Lancelot if course. What I do on my second account is building a falcon and get a legendary pilot before the 5th slot because with less then 100 wins and a strong falcon you get very much more gold

Adrian, i am an avid follower, your videos are entertaining and educational, they show what robots can do in the hands of an expert thereby giving me at least an idea of what robots and weapons to get for the future. I run Cryo-Rime on my own account. I would keep an eye out for the Atomizer-Quarker and Atomizer-Shredder build though especially when they buff those weapons (Quarker, Atomizer, Nucleon). Hope this helps!

As an expert leauge player, it is defiantly more effective to have component bots, as that is the main bots seen in it, while it may be different in domination and beacon rush, ffa needs at least 2 component bots. My hanger with works for my league is carnage dual viper, bulgasari tri scourge, ao jun glacier and ravana punisher taran cryo, Arthur machines guns.

i actually got a head start. my father used to play the game when the fujins and rajins were new. he brought himself all the way to level 30 and got lots of magnums and tarans, all around level 7 or 8. I got to play the game after he was done (around when the haechis came out) and got a lancelot. now that the leech is very good, i got one. so, when i was bronze league, (i waited way too long and my leagues dropped) i got a head start, using expert / diamond league items.

*My reccomendations* As a gold 2 player, i would reccommend to get these 4 robots : *Gareth* punisher, *Leo* thunder punisher (kills slowly but lasts), *Natasha* thunder pinata (kills fast but only one target), *Griffin* tulumbas pin. if you are playing on steam, ditch the Leo for the Fenrir, put punisher T and thunder on it, and put your cryo on the griffin with pinatas. if you just started, here's the route to follow : *Patton* 4 punisher after the *Cossack*. (alternate build : 4 pinatas or 3 pinatas + ecu (purchase the *Jesse* to get the 4 pinatas, then sell the jesse to save up silver)) After the *Patton*, get the *Vityaz*, and keep the default configuration. The get the *Gareth*, *Natasha*, *Leo*, and *Griffin*. *Fun builds to try very early game :* *Patton* 4 spiral (cancer but good range and good damage, but you will need to ditch it as spiral get obselete) *Patton* 4 norricum (again, cancer and will last longer than the 4 spiral) *Jesse* 4 spiral or 2 spiral 2 pinata (good for capturing unguarded beacons while dealing damage at range) *Fun silver builds :* *Griffin* molot T, molot. (do not try to snipe at 800 meters, but come to 500 meters where you will to good damage) *Natasha* kang dae, norricum. I like that he mentions your robots will change as you get higher into each league, which is 100% true! The cool shield bots, little stealth bots and anything with an ancile shield that you have leveled up in the early game will quickly become obsolete as players in the late game tend to just smash that pay to win button as hard as possible. Early game: tons of cool strategy and fair play. Late game: not much strategy, more or less just timing your stealth abilities and chunking out change at the developers.

I just made it to Expert 3 and I have been already encountering ravanas, nightingales, ao juns, ares, phantoms and whatever else the meta is. I'm running a mostly silver and gold hangar right now with three griffins and two leos. I have one leo with spark and calamity, one gust thunder leo, RDB, DB and Plasma DB. And my levels are between 7 to 8 for most things except level 5 for spark and calamity. I think I need to already start building towards component bots and weapons if I want to have a full hangar by the time I get to Master and Champion. Thank god they reduced the weapon prices in the workshop.

I'm in gold league and my hangar is Rajin - Thunder ( I'm not sure if I should equip tridents on it ) Rhino - Punishers, tulambas ( again I'm not sure if I should put taran, magnum on it ) Griffin - Taran, magnum Natasha - thunder, pinata Titan - kid with default weapons I actually won the rhino in the 100 key crate and if any players remember, before components, there was something called 'workshop points' and like robots like the rajin, fujin, carnage and rhino ( and some weapons like tarans and orkans ) would cost workshop points and that's how I got the rajin and my taran weapons.

Spot on. Personally have seen the progression through multiple accounts iOS and recently Android as well. As my Android account is transitioning from Diamond to Expert I was looking for some guidance. I am leveling some next top tier hardware thanks the the events but my Cossack, Fujin and Rogatka are soon to be mothballed. Sadly. Thank you as I was seriously thinking I should max MK1 some of the silver weapons. Long term that does not seem to be the prudent move. As always great advice for the free to play commanders. TIP : if your buying thunders, instead buy the vityaz robot, take the thunder of then sell the vityaz this mean that the thunder will only be around 300k!

I joined the expert league a short time ago, I didn't even want to because in 90% of the matches I get to robots and weapons much superior to the battles are mostly very unequal. My best robots are a bulgazari with 3 tulumbas and a strider with two magnus and a thunder.

Adrian could you do another video like this for the current meta? It was very helpful! My hangar previously had a 1.35 million average, but was only winning around 30-40% of battles in Master 3 because I don't have a hawk, scorpion, typhon, or shell to compete... I'm dropping like crazy to find a balanced league. Here is my hangar (all bots are level 9): Ravana with three level 10 storms. Leech with four level 10 tarans. Blitz with 3 level 10 magnums, 1 level 9 spark. Ao Jun with one level 10 glacier, one level 10 thunder. Fenrir with one level 11 nucleon, and two level 9 atomizers.

It's a lot of gold for players in the lower leagues at that stage but it's actually easier to get now than when I started because I didn't have two things on my side that new players now will have - Operations (which is a huge deal) and the changes they made to Honor Points where it isn't all based on damage. I'm not sure if you know this but you also get gold and silver from Workshop levels as well. I've received 1000 gold for some Workshop levels but even that aside, players should be getting at least 100 gold a day just from watching ads. This doesn't even gold from things like the Bronze Chest (Black Market), Operations, Workshop, Events and after each battle. The problem though is that players use gold to rush which is a definite no no when it comes to a new account. Hope this helps.

Holy hell adrian this really helped. Not necessarily even with the silver to gold to component thing, more the builds I should be running in champion league. It’s difficult with gold tho, but it helped a lot.

Correction... even the expert league use component builds. And I'm in expert league and I see most of the players use component builds..

Great video and reminder of how to best utilize resources. Resource management is key. This video would be useful. Had to figure out a lot myself. Lost gold silver and time. Do the Titans one. Had to stop a clan member ... transfer Kid weapons to Art. Not start over with two bots. Simple strategy but a guide would be useful. Keep up the great videos.

Same good advice as usual - nice video --- al my bots are level 9 but my weapons are MK2 minimum - and as you said I rarely have more then 2 of the same bot in my hangar - Cheers

I think as soon as you open the workshop you should start building a robot. My only regret in the game is not building a robot sooner. On my second account I built and got an Ao Jun in Diamond II and bought avengers.

Checked the video just out of curiosity... and turns out there is almost no feasible reason why I should be in champion league with the levels of my bots and weapons, currently equipped weapons averaging like level 9 and bots around 8. Thanks for the juicy info Adrian!

Great content Adrian. I continuley recapitulate your advice to my clan as it works! I think the importance of healing is also overlooked when it comes to honour points. The Titan feature would be fantastic especially a section on how to upgrade effectively.

I think everyone forgot about zenit and noricums lowest range was 500 meters (right now it’s 300 meters) miss the days of rajin and fujin being the last robots to get/unlock😢
