First time trying this setup - I can see this being a legit setup. You definitely notice the difference in resistance when going into weapons mode. The downside to such a build though is that you'll get locked down frequently if red team is running lockdown chips or Paralysis drone. Don't forget that there's also the EMP effects from Typhon, Erebus, Murometz and the Whiteout drone. Very dangerous and you would die instantly if you don't go to ball mode immediately before the EMP strikes you.

@@justdestrier2787 I believe for this to be a threat they need to knock your Aegis Shield down. I have to double-check but I think the Aegis of Skyros is similar to Typhon which wraps around the body of the robot rather than it being a "bubble" around the bot like the Erebus.

This morning I played a match where I was in my skyros for nearly the entire match and got 9-10 kills and 11 beacons. It was so insane. I also have Armadillo drone for it.

The mender is aids compared to Demeter it can tank a lot when built properly compared to Dem and restore its own grey damage if it runs away

I paused video at 0:22 to guess what happens. Skyros is not a bot you want to stay in for a prolonged time if you play solo. Your team will not help you at beacons and you will be on 1 beacon too long or trying to cap beacons while rest of team dies. Because of matchmaking, you will be the top player on the field along with 5 masters. My prediction is you will lose games if you stay in that bot too long. That's assuming you aren't coming out of ball mode to kill bots.

I’ve always been curious, do the bonuses from a max stacked RA or NA actually stack over multiple modules? So three NA’s will give you 75% defence mitigation and three RA’s will give 75 defence points?

Multiple amps don’t stack unfortunately . You just get stacked faster.

I've actually been wondering about this because at first I thought it didn't stack but you definitely notice a difference between having one and two. Maybe it's because it reaches the defence points quicker but you definitely notice it on a weaker bot such as something like a Typhon or Erebus.

the NA's dont stack, but its been tested and the RA's do indeed stack. It can make some beefy tanks. Also by using 1 max RA and 1 lvl one RA you can get almost the same impact as having 2 maxed RA's.

@@weenie_5442 ok that’s good to know. So unless you’ve got a long range dps bot, it’s always better to have two RA’s because you’ll reach max stacks really fast and get 33% damage resistance instead of 20% resistance

@@adrianchong NA's don't stack, RA's do stack and stack fully. For RA, this also includes the healing per second. 3 RA's repairs an impressive 5.4% of hp/sec. Full durability heal from 3 RA in 18.5 seconds (for no grey damage, e.g. from orbital strike or corrosion).

That can work too. It'll take longer to reach the point where you get resistance though. Some were telling me Repair Amplifiers don't stack I'm just reached that point faster but I also know JACK in our clan mentioned a while back he felt like it was stacking resistance but he's not sure if it was a bug.

A perfect example of gameplay where your holding up 5x players and your team has 5 v 1 odds but can’t make anything happen!! Wake up! Or you get 5 blues all trying to kill a Skyros on home beacon, you leave it and press another beacon, that’s what the Skyros wants. To tie up many players and keep them from doing anything meaningful.

The hard counter is to use lockdown - whether you use Paralysis or Lockdowner chip (or both) along with Cudgel, Mace, Hammer, Scald, Scorcher, Incinerator, Toxin, Venom or Bane.

I'm running the Armadillo drone. With Armadillo, for every beacon you capture or kill you get, +15 defence points (+13% more resistance) until the end of the game. So if I captured 10 beacons that's 10 x 15 or 150 Defence Points. Based on the Wiki site, that equates to +60% resistance. Hope this explains things. You will have more defence points so yes. I didn't know this at first until I ran two Repair Amplifiers on the Typhon and I remember from that day onwards I've been using the two Repair Amps on my tanks. However… I have never run 3 before on any bot and I was curious how it would do on specifically the Skyros. It helps to counter balance the Skyros when it's in weapons mode.

I don't believe it's really suppose to stack but I noticed when I run two it's a lot harder to kill. Someone said it's because it triggers quickly but I remember testing this a while back and JACK mentioned something about how it isn't suppose to stack but apparently it was at the time. This is why I often don't read too much into things like damage numbers because you never know what's accurate and what's a "bug".

I prefer Theseus. If you have the resources another option is the new Trixie pilot. Baros makes me nervous because of how it suppresses players. All top players run On Suppression Immune damage chips so I'm essentially charging their damage chips when I suppress. Not sure if that makes sense?

@@napd__ Yes. If you're running Suppressor chip and I have On Suppression Immune: Damage chips you're charging me up. It's not stacking their damage but rather activating their Suppression damage chips. Hope this makes sense.

Players will always go the "illegal route" by exploiting the game. It use to happen a lot in 2014 and 2015 which is probably why the company was bought by Mail.Ru as they were losing money. Back then players were hacking resources and doing the whole Apple refund even though this game was pretty much free. Sad how players have to do that even when the game was free.
