Correct it needs to have a new command stack, not join the 33rd I believe as units cannot merge or split during movement operations phase.

Page 9 talks about on how in phase 3 movement. If you have a forced re-organized due to break pinning. The guys from the 61st join the 33 on the force re-organize.

@@warroompainstate2661 I am quoting 2nd edition rulebook here, I don't think this has changed from first but let me know if so. But if you are talking about the Reorganize Commands section referring to Phase 3 it says they must split, joining the 33rd would be a merge. Further, on page 10 it states "Any excess number of Units not needed to match the Enemy pinning MUST continue per the written order to the original destination if possible (unless the order is canceled). The owner places a new Command Token on the pinned force, which remains behind."

@@vh8542 And if you don't have a spare command topper for the split off force, then it is pinned in the pinning territory with the rest of the originally pinned portion of the force.

Any historic game that refuses to use the German flag of that era is too cucked for my money. Vanquishing them is enough, we needn't strike them from history lest we're doomed to repeat it.

Do you get to see everyone’s orders before executing your orders even if you go first?

No, orders are reveled and executed in turn order. So if you go first you are blind on every one else’s orders.

@@Datruth330 correct. So each side comes up with their plan. You then write your orders and make oil bids. Once it is declared that all orders are written you revel oil bids and pay oil. ThenDetermine turn order based on the oil bids. The. 1st player hands his order card to the other side and they read out the orders and move units. Then the 2nd plate does the same, rinse repeat through all 7 nations.

In the case of pinning, can you cancel your order so you leave all your units behind?

Yes you can, you can always cancel an order.

So wait… if Russia starts combat in Ukraine and the Germans wants to railroad from France to Hungary (right outside of Ukraine because you can’t invade by rail) to send more troops, the order is canceled because the railroad in Ukraine is under attack? Why would the rail line from France to Hungary be inoperable? Shouldn’t you be able to use your rail lines outside the conflict?

No he meant if you want to rail into ukraine and russia is before you, your rail order will be canceled. It is not allowed to strand it in Hungary. If your order was to hungary then its ok
