F14 is still 11.0 for some reason in sim, before Apex predators, I think it was the only plane with IFF on PD mode. but I could be wrong. Having PD IFF alone was extremely OP against anything, planes like the F16 with all aspect PD with IFF is impossible to hide from

My best is 25:1 with the F-14A Early. 7 AIM-54 kills, 12 AIM-7F kills, 1 Gun Kill, and 5 AIM-9H kills. I also bombed a base, got a few accidental AIM-54 kills, and I accidentally killed a friendly F-4J Phantom II. 11 MiG-23's (1 AIM-9H, 10 AIM-7F) 3 SU-7's (all AIM-54s) 3 SU-22's (all AIM-54s) 1 MiG-21Bis Sau (AIM-9H) 2 MiG-21 SPS-K's (all AIM-9Hs) 1 J-7E (Killed me, then killed him with guns) 4 MiG-27's (1 AIM-54, 2 AIM-7F, 1 AIM-9H) Around 25 Miles was my best shot with the AIM-7F, around 43 with the AIM-54. I was flying for the basically entire match to do that. I had to split the throttle once to dodge an R-24.

Idea, Make the Tornado and F4C 10.3 in sim. So when the BR rotates, we have F5C, A10s, Harriers, F4c flying together against Mig21s, Mig19s, F104G, A5c, F1(jap)

The balance in SBEC doesnt exist anymore F16+F14 are just so many compared to every other vehicles its almost 90% 2 F16s for every enemy and Mig29s are a rare sight feels like 80% of the player base has US top tier... Edit:hoping that EFT brings back balance since the only nations with actual BVR capabilitys are US and RU so the EFT would bring a balance with that BVR

Personally I dont play top tier sim anymore. Its just too much of air rb with more difficult controls now. Too small maps with too many players. Its just not possible to avoid F-16´s and F-14´s anymore without staying on ground at your airfield, well that doesnt work either anymore.

There are some maps that work, namley afghanista, spain, vietnam and denmark. Those are big enough also for top tier. I only play those. In theory they should add the Canyon too.

There’s a slider somewhere called sense of flight, reduce or turn it off and that effect will go.

i have a problem with the f16 where it rabndomly just and moves weirdly, it doesnt fly like i this video smoothly, i have trimmed and done everything but cant find a fix

SAS control needs to be set to damping, you are flying it without Fly by wire being used.

Sim battles are kind of no fun for me. Even if you do amazing and get like 20 kills and 6 deaths and kill at least 1-2 targets on each flight, you still lose SL. Talking about the Mig-29 there

Top tier in any mode is basically a money pit. Don't play it to make SL cause you're barely gonna make anything, or lose some no matter how good you do.

Order yourself a cheap hotas I got the T flight hotas by thrust master back when ace combat was announced for my Xbox and have used it pretty much daily outside since then only problem I've had is with the yaw function one of the wires was to short out of factory and the connection got jumpy after a while but a 10 dollar soldering iron and 20 mins later it was better than new

Aim9L are better than r60 in basically any situation. They pull the same but have way more range and sometimes they ignore flares. I really hope mig29 gets better missiles because at this point r60 are...well, not so good. Also, I think the f16 is superior to the mig29 in a dogfight but you have to get to lower speeds. At low speed the f16 simply burns it at every turn, however at the beginning of the fight they're very similar in the amount of pull they can make.

R60's are better in dogfights since they track immediatly off the rack while the aim9L doesnt

@@SemD2005 there isnt really much difference. Aim9l are really better on basically all situations except the very close shots where the opponent is not flaring. There is no comparison really.

on your radar an enemy would look something like this |--| and your and your team mate would just be 2 lines similar to this 1:00 is what an enemy on your radar will look like 13:46 on the bottom of the radar is what a team mate will look like

It's ridiculous being put up against mig 29 and f16s with phantoms especially when the repair cost in sim for the phantoms are higher or same as any of the new jets both my phantoms are hardly researched and cost 22000+ plus ammunition

I have the Thrustmaster 16000m (with peddles, but its not needed.) works great for sim in WR, and I use it in DCS

At BVR the Mig-29 is much better due to the 5.5M R-27ER Missile. When they see you first or at the same time and launch at the same time, they will always win. Dodging the R-27ER is quite the challenge. Thats why the F-16 is best used from deck level and Aim-9L only. Having some great success with that.

It is the most OP radar, it has all aspect PD that has IFF and is hard to notch.
