Bonus tip- SPAA is a great way to grind quickly. Unless a match is going sideways, chances are you're not going to get immediately targeted on the ground. Plus, swatting down a few aircraft deprives the enemy of spawn points, potentially swinging a match toward a win, and thus more rewards. To get better at SPAA- spade them in arcade (at least prior to rank 5) as it's a target rich environment and you develop a better sense of how much lead a specific AA needs. Cheers.

Like, here where I live we get around like 500$ a month, and as WT don't have regional prices for other countries and as the premium rewards are so freaking expensive it just feels like it's made only to get money. I think great solution would be CRP being able to be used with silver lions or making VIP players play against VIP players only, but it's hard to gaijin to make something that the players can enjoy.

@@rocambolehibrido6132 trust me. You don’t need any of that. You can enjoy the game without all of it. And there are ways to get ge for free. I think nimbo has even done a video. Or that may be someone else. But yeah there are ways of getting everything for free. You may just need to put a little more work in. Yet it will be worth it when you’re having fun getting better and making new friends. You may end up even being gifted ge and cool packs by friends. I have done it a few times to help people out when I have a little money left over. And I am sure I am not the only one that dose that.

Air sim in a bomber or p-47 is amazing especially sense boosters will last the entire 2 hour game and all the modifiers are massive

I think boosters have a 30 minute limit after that it will count it as "another game" for a booster

With the way RP works in the game of this moment in time, Air RB does give more research points per kill, it does take longer to get those kills, and there is also a cap, there are only 16 enemy planes after all. In Air AB the is no cap, this gets more apparent when there are missiles involved, however this video is about low tier grinding, so that isn't part of my point. The reason there is no cap, is because the enemy can spawn in multiple planes, so you can just keep killing them. In Air AB its much faster to go to and get a kill, and if you die you can spawn again. It really depends on which you do better in, I haven't actually done the math, but I believe for every 1 kill in RB you need about 2-4 in AB. (someone else can do the math if they wish, I'm not going to)

My problem with air rb is that I can climb all I want and a bf109 will still come out of the stratosphere and rip me to shreds. That or I dive and my airframe rips apart lol. Maybe I need more practice but with 100 games and almost nothing to show for it, I think ill stick to arcade.

Target selection- it's not important you're above EVERY person in the match, just that you're above the people that actually pose a threat to you. If bf-109's wanna spaceclimb every game, let them. In the time it takes them to get there, you can be 500m-1km above the rest of his team, boom and zoom them all, and rtb, before the 109 can even dive and kill you!

It is an awesome game but the price of those prems is absolutely ridiculous. Like the ufo tank costing 400 on the mf market place. Insane. I'm grinding italian tech and been playing for 1.5 months. Br 3.5 army and 4.0 navy. Don't really do air battles because I'm trash af. Def been having fun so far and haven't spent any money (yet)

Understandable and agreed! However, let's take a step back for a minute. I'm not saying I agree with the business model of selling people on a free to play game where you almost need to pay if you wanna make real progress or join a certain tier of player. But there are PLENTY of other games that use this model- war thunder is not unique to this! Again, really trying to make it clear (lol) that I'm not saying I agree with this model, just saying I understand. Also, I think that war thunder, although DEFINITELY not perfect, balances pretty well and there really isn't too much pay to win. Yeah, okay, there definitely is some (the BI LOL), but personally don't encounter it too often in my matches and therefore I don't see it as game breaking or even that effectual on anything! In no way am I an expert at ground battles or war thunder in general (I’m only early tier 5 germany) but if you’re struggling on taking out a certain type of tank you should find it and look at the armor of it and the Xray to find out the weaknesses and strengths. I know this may be obvious to some but this is a video for people new to the game or progressing through the early tiers.

Very useful tip. I started with Japanize tanks and got to 6.7, then did US tanks 6.7 and am now working on Germany. I don't like to go higher than 6.3-6.7 because the grind just gets too long and you are stuck playing the same thing forever. I didn't start doing this till I started with US where the guns aren't exactly good, and you are almost always paired against the heavy German armor.

Dumb question. If I buy a premium vehicle a few ranks ahead of where I’m at in the tech tree, am I able to use it to speed through those lower ranks?

Good question- it depends how far apart the ranks are, but most of the time, yes. Hover your mouse over the vehicle you want and on the stat card somewhere you'll see something along the lines of "research rank efficiency I-IV" (or whatever it is). These are the ranks of vehicles the vehicle you have selected is optimal for researching! Even if you're using a top tier premium to research rank I vehicles, it'll go pretty fast since the modifiers are so much higher anyways. Goodluck, sir :)

without a doubt gaijin relies on frustration to get people to pay for things and that is… frustrating, obviously, but i think a lot of people let the frustration cloud their vision from the fact that the game is actually completely free no questions asked. you actually can get all the way to the top without paying a cent. i haven’t done that but one of my friends who i got into this game did it with the US tank tree. but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing to buy things. in fact it’s actually morally justified and debatably the morally correct path to take because you’re basically just paying for the product gaijin has made. there are dumb ways to spend money in this game but tbh war thunder isn’t as predatory as other games with this monetization strategy. gaijin makes it “necessary” to buy premium time soo… just buy premium time. if you buy them on sale it’s like paying $4/month for a subscription MMO. i used to play WoW and that game had retail price ($60)+sub($15/mo)+xpac($60 for a new one and usually you had to buy a bundle that at various points in history may have been bundled in some capacity). that makes WT look pretty tame. basically yeah just buy premium

Fastest way is to just buy a high tier premium, not surprising in a free to play game. Just get a premium vehicle because you keep that forever and get the bonus, no need to keep paying for premium account time

As someone that has never watched, I would never return. Take this as you will. I'm five minutes into a 13 minute video (where I stopped because I felt the video was a waste of time) and you've talked about nothing other than the obvious - premium vehicles and account help - and the opinion of not playing arcade. Personally, as someone new, I barely get anything playing realistic because I don't know the maps and get knocked out quickly. I make way more (and I assume most new people do) in arcade. Get to your point quicker. Stop giving so much opinion and ranting in a video that's supposed to be about giving tips. Good luck, but there is a reason you have less than 6k people following. Get better.
