War Thunder Joystick Setup: Using and abusing trim

when not trying to abuse trim lol, which control type do you recommend for using a stick in AB? Just got the t-16000m recently and have been messing with realistic and full-real. Ive seen some conflicting info regarding simplified, partly due to age i think. In ab, i have only tried realistic, though it was just a few games.

i am playing realistic battles a lot with thrustmaster x hotas joystick and ch product pro pedals when i use full real control the torque effect makes the plane slide to either sides according to the propeller rotation direction and the plane like bf 109 tends to pitch up so i need to trim it down any suggestions about the rudder trim in plane like bf 109 f4 with no rudder trim to make it stable while flying straight i am a great fan of your videos that help me a lot in adjusting the joystick

With Full-Real controls you have no other option than to just work with it. In realistic controls the game fudges it a little either by auto trimming the aircraft on surfaces where it doesn't have trim or automatically moving the stick and rudder to maintain level flight. I'm not quite sure which.

Hey I am playing rb with joystick too but I am very bad at it and I rarely get 1 kill. I have just started using js though. How is it with you? Will practice put me on the same level as mouse aimers?

Good to know that you lose control while blackout. Iam not sure that you could set 100% trim on all planes in IRL. If yes then its totally legit play no abuse.

By using "trim" I assume you mean using the rudder? ... I asked that question before I saw what you were doing in settings.

How are you trimming? I use a CH pro 6 axis throttle quad.
