I was in this plane, me and an Italian twin engine decided to head on, at about 6 KM out I pulled up to 30 degrees and got above him, rolled upside down and got on his tail. Amazing plane, this is the plane I have been looking for.

Ahhh...the Spitfire F MkIX, the Spitfire that shines in the right hands! I absolutely adore the Spitfires in game and in real life. they have an amazing engine which is super powerfull, on a light airframe making the climbrate briliant,. This plane together with the MkVc are my go-to relax planes. just hop into a spit, MkVc, MkIX, Mk22/24, and you will have a good time if you keep your head on the swivel. I love this plane!

I'm a firm believer... that if you have not flown the mk.9 then you have not flown a spitfire. I just got this plane (I havnt researched much British yet) and I have just one word for it... "wow" Great plane.

Jengar picking G-55 for breakfast! Awesome! I just unlocked Mk IX, it's still barebone but is truly amazing plane. Real Spitfires were so agile and powerfully that nobody dares to say WT make them OP! Because it was OP in real life!

I dunno mate, both spitfire pilots and 109 and 190 pilots said that their planes were pretty evenly matched. and that if the other side did something that made their planes better, then their side responded quickly with improvements as well. The advantages never really lasted too long :)

I use to fly this plane. However, as you know, I love turn fighting on the deck. So when Gaijin lowered the repair costs of the LF Mk IX, I only fly it now. Nothing is more fun to me, then turn fighting a few meters off the deck. Boom N Zoom not my cup of tea.

2 x Hispanos (Spark Galore) at 4.3 is medicre or at least below average. Consider 109 F4 at 4.0 BR with 1x MG151 (nuke rounds) + 2x 15mms (with gun pods) + 2x 7.7s. Especially the stock grind for this is so insane with stock guns.

Great video of a great aircraft. But if that G55 did not make a mistake by going up but insted turn after you he woud have gun solution on you so in some whey G55 can turn with spit especialy with highter speed on all altitude, they manage to suprise me few times and I in G55 manage to suprise them, that is reason why people sey that G55 can turn with spit. But when speed drop below 380/400 km/h spit is in advantage in all aspects of dogfight. G55-S have combat flaps that can be use up to 500km/h and in that window of speeds he will outturn spits (in range of his BR) especialy the for hispano spit. Sorry for long comment :-))))))

Do you like this even more than the LF? Everyone always talks about how great the LF Spitfire is. I grew to like this one so much I skipped the LF and kind of wish I hadn't. I've never been able to get used to the later Spits. I don't know what it is, but I've just never been great with the Spitfires, with this Spitfire being the exception.

Jengar, die F MK ix is a little too strong when compared to it's german counterpart. Faster climb, better acceleration at all alts and all speeds and generally better high alt performance than the bf109 g2. I couldn't believe it at first but there are comparison vids of it

Jair Diaz the italians have a better initial turn and about 10x the firepower it feels like. They also turn sharper at certain speeds which makes it very easy to turn into somebody when you dive on him, spits can't do that thaaat well.

Nastar Game Indonesia Two options: (I) be higher, but not too much, boom and zoom. If necessary, a little turn fight but no more than 5 seconds, and go higher. (ii) On clear space, force than to enter in turn fight, with yo-yo or scissors. German can not beat Spits, Zero or Yaks in turn fights.

the typhoon is good up until 5000m. Dont go higher then 6k. use it for boom and zoom after that. sideclimb a bit too ;) be patient, dont turnfight.

yeah, that's my thought since gaijin move it from 4.0 to 4.3. Also, I'd recommend you to check the Ki-44-II hei Shoki, an absolutely UFO at 2.7 BR - rank 2 which has the flight performances of tier 4 planes (insane climbrate, speed and acceleration) :)

pff, difficult question, as most of them are pretty good at their br, this one is a real contender for that title btw ;)

Anything but this one! Elitism has blinded Jengar to reality for most players. If you are a new to average pilot the first Spitfires are easily the best. If you are a better than average player with good aim and can deal with 120 rounds ammo the MK 5 is the best. This one is the worst, literally the worst Spitfire because you are on the losing team to Germany/Italy team every round. Jengar totally ignores the 109G2 which you will see the most often and which greatly outclasses this plane in every way, climb, acceleration, speed, diving, and energy retention even with gun pods. It's really not about the individual planes as much as the losing team of half bombers you're put on since paired with USA so often. And being outnumbered 3:1 every match is NOT fun. This game is pure German bias and Jengar is Dutch so yeah, you know his agenda.

Sure Jengar, if you like being outclimbed and outnumbered every single match. If you can track 5 enemies on you at once (which you will have to do since your team will be slaughtered so fast!), and if you don't mind literally never having a downtier as a 'downtier' in the MK9 means facing several P47s diving on you, 109 F4s and C205s (both of which are terrifically undertiered). Oh wait the P47 is actually a 4.3 for USA but 3.7 for pro-Germanic reasons, therefore yeah a downtier is a 'sidetier' at best and no downtier exists for this plane, therefore constant equal or uptier. Brilliant! Astonishing you reviewed this plane and managed to simply not notice all that.

its slower then you and it'll rip its wings faster that you too. you can actually sideclimb so efficently that you can be the 1 plane up there in the middle of the match with the enemy team pulled down low by your team.
