This HEATFS slinging monster is a blast to play. In my opinion one of the best premiums I have picked up in a while. That second fight had me so stressed out I couldn't tell if lag broke my reload, the drum was empty, or was I going insane.

Hahaha that's awesome. I was in a Locust the other day and snuck up on a T-34 from behind and out of nowhere a SU-155 or something similar to it slammed into me from the side and pinned me up against a rock so the T-34 could execute me. Reminded me a lot of something that these guys would have done. xD

@@Storm-dy3jy Happened to me yesterday so egregiously (3 tanks "decloaked" on next dune 1km out on El Alamein, after setting me on fire) that I earned a chat ban. It's infuriating and War Thunder/Gaijin either doesn't know how to fix it or doesn't care at all. Part of the chat ban was the in-game chat forum, dude who *appeared* to be running the show at the time spent almost half an hour trying to convince me that crew skills affect RENDER distance in arcade mode, and not identification.... trying so hard to disregard what I was saying that it would have been much simpler at the start for him to simply say "You're an idiot, noob, git gud. We don't believe your problem and here's a chat ban just because we hate you, please die in another fire".

Hey Bo just a heads up, it will take 2 minutes roughly to load 7 shots into the autoloader, second thing is a nice trick, if you sit in a cap and get ammo it goes straight into the autoloader which is even faster than the normal way

The confusion was that when the last round fired. It seemed like it was taking forever to get the first round back in. What you guys haven't seen is the numerous rounds I have fired in this patch that visual fire. Watch sparked on the enemy. And Then a red ring like that appears. No reload animation. Click a couple more times and then it will fire.

I just thought I'd try and be helpful with about how long it takes to reload all seven shots (does that one have 7, or is it more? The other thing I mentioned I thought you might like to make use of)

If drum is empty, the ammo icon (HEAT-FS) will be turned off i.e darker color. Same thing happens when your cannon breech / barrel is black. If you shoot but lag disagrees, the ammo icon will be the normal bright color. So just look at the ammo icon.

That wasn't a ready rack though. That was the drum for the auto loader that I ran dry. It used to have a different game mechanic when reloading auto loaders. Sorry haven't played much this patch due to no interent.
