I honestly don't know why route A and B are even referred as an "ending", it literally is not. Route A left out so many questions and things unexplored

@@hoshii.8533 I felt like it was pretty climactic. At that point, I figured I was going to be playing through the game from five perspectives, each one shedding more light on the events. Didn't expect A and B to only be the first half of the narrative.

and the anime places this part in a diffrent order makeing it even scaryer. the (spoil: 2 e reveal comes FIRST)

the anime really REALLY drives that home as well theres parts that anime did better and some it did worse. Adding an entire section about a2s final mission in a past life and a twist ONLY shown in the anime really helped out. There's a scene from a2s final mission in the past that makes the futility aspect even worse. They enter the machine bunker after barely surviveing 240 thousend machines attacking. Only to have the insane AI(the red children) laugh and restore the sanity of a bunch of their infected soldgiers whilst still controlling their movements. All while dilivering a speach about the truth of Yorha and how all present will diee for nothing. "Does it feel good slaughting your friends while they are sane?" "Is it not fuN fun FUN! Are you not growing stronger from this trauma! as you are designed to! That bomb in your hand yes. you will win. we will diee you will die all will die and it will mean nothing! But you will still hit the button yes? You must Yes? be a good soldier yes?

KIND of its up in the air ultmentely (spoiler: 9S is the big bad the game is far more suttle about this where as the anime comes out the gate with it showing some darker actions like executeing to machines beging for their lives after the songstress fight) also the anime takess a HUGE branch at (spoil: Adem eve fight. Eve is defeated in the copied city with ADEM being the last one left)
