Warwind is a real time strategy game from 1996, the game is about 4 alien civilizations fighting for power and survival, each with its own unique units,spells, campaign and cinematic. The gameplay is not great, it's very hard to control, with units unresponsiveness after some actions.
Warwind was made by DreamForge Intertainment.

Interesting to see that they already had a mercenary system 6 years before Warcraft III.

it is a little weird, what the game calls mercenary are only the motorbike ones, but there are workers and heroes from the same building, and i believe heroes shows up only once each game.

And oddly enough an Eaggra hero...but well, that´s how it works, it seems.
